Modern Autoworks was recommended by a friend in the auto repair industry here in Santa Fe. They have built a great reputation over the years. The first time I took my Jeep in and called for an Uber ride to take me back to work, my Uber driver said, "I was just here yesterday picking up my Prius." Since it was my first time there, I asked him if they did a good job. He said they fixed an electrical problem with his Prius that no one else had been able to fix. So I took that as a great sign.
Sure enough, they did a great job repairing my Jeep twice now and I trust them with all my repair work. They are very thorough, detail-oriented, and take their responsibility seriously. They are also locally owned and operated. Great job on the Jeep. Thanks!

Best shop in town! Mark in the office is fantastic and the mechanics and technicians in the shop are absolute pros. I brought in my Jeep as well as my sons Kia Sedona and was impressed by the work that was done. Furthermore, they are extremely trustworthy, not trying to upsell or charge for something that does not need to be fixed. YES !!!! Yes, Yes, YES!! So here's the deal.... My Jeep went bat-shit. All of a sudden lights came on... electrical shorts happening... everything failed at once. My initial thought was to call the Jeed dealership, as I was leaving on a cross country trip in 10 days. The dealership told me It was a week before I could get in, and they told me up front that it would take 2-4 weeks to get parts. Um... that didn't work for me. So I drove around to every mom and pop shop in Santa Fe to find someone who works on a jeep. NOT EASY! Anyhow... my last stop was at ToyoTech... and they told me they didn't work on jeeps, but they knew someone who did. MODERN AUTOWORKS!! I went straight over to them at 4:45 on a Friday, and met Mark who was just closing up for the weekend. Mark was the first person of many I spoke to that day, who made any sense at all. He looked at my jeep, and gave me his honest opinion on what was going on. He had me bring back my Jeep on Monday morning. Let me tell you... these guys are the BOMB and they know exactly what they are doing. Francisco the mechanic is the MASTER!! Not only did he fix my jeep... but he also found 20 other issues I didn't know about, and fixed them all. My jeep is running better than it ever has. BOTH Mark and Francisco are awesome. I will not take my Jeep anywhere else. Trust me on this one... these guys are the best!! I feel like I struck a gold mine. Highly recommended!!

I was visiting through Sante Fe and had my car broken in at my hotel parking lot. They had messed up the ignition and power steering and it wouldn’t even start. It being a holiday weekend I called over 10 mechanics trying to find an opening. The guys over at Modern Auto Works squeezed me in last minute and did an incredible job. They had a quick turn around, didn’t try to upsell me, and explained everything about the repairs they were doing. They even called a few days later to make sure I made the rest of my trip okay. They totally saved my butt and would definitely be my go to mechanic if I lived in Sante Fe!

Honest, reliable and a business that stands by their word. Rare in this "new world we find ourselves in. We drove in from Texas and upon arrival my truck had serious Mechanical failure!!! Francisco (the wizard) was able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue, in what amounted to be less than a day. Needless to say I am grateful and lucky to have found this place. Thank you guys from my family on vacation!!!

I found this repair shop as they were the first result when I searched for a Jeep mechanic on Google. I had a radiator with a drain valve that was damaged and falling out repeatedly, which another shop hadn't noticed. I've been delighted with the service and communication provided by Modern Autoworks. There hasn't been any problem that they didn't know how to fix on both the Jeep Grand Cherokee or the Toyota pickup. The attention to detail from these guys is second to none, and they're extremely friendly.Services: Engine repair

Mark and the staff are very knowledgeable and fixed the bad fuel injector on my explorer pretty fast. I'd definitely take my car there again.
