I ran into this business by accident, and what a beautiful surprise! The 2 ladies were so welcoming. Sadly, I had very little time and saw a few pieces that got my attention. To say the least, I was so impressed with the store that I felt the need to write a review. Can't wait to go back in June.

My family and I went to have a nice time in Santa Fe, NM today, unfortunately our biggest mistake was entering this horrible store. The older lady that was working there was so ignorant! What she considered as a “joke” to my niece with diverse disabilities was just rude, sarcastic and disrespectful! The tone of her sarcastic voice made me cringe, while my niece asked her a question about her dog.A women her age should know how to have manners, be respectful, and provide quality customer service to ALL who walk into her store. The biggest accomplishment today was going back to tell her how ignorant she is and that she should be ashamed of herself! I hope she reads this to know how truly disgusting you are to make an ignorant, and sarcastic “joke.”Your apology means nothing to us! Learn about diverse disabilities!! Also learn how to be respectful to customers and people in general!

Gorgeous modern European home furnishings, slanted to outdoor furniture. Elegantly presented and curated. Candia was more than welcoming and helpful with her advice and assistance. This was a surprise find in the sometimes snooty merchandise providers in Santa Fe. Lovely experience, Thanks again Candia, Bill

I am with Monica on her sentiment. I certainly had nothing by a great experience. Sizing up by appearance? I am a 54 year old male who is heavily tattooed and was wearing shorts and a tank top when I went in. It makes me sad that I had not been here before because of the negative reviews. But nothing could have been further from the truth. She was engaging, helpful, seemed to genuinely love to talk about design and furniture, and even was showing me things that she knew I was not going to buy, but the design aspect seems to animate her. I also see nothing wrong with letting people come into the store just to browse. It happens all the time in the railyard district because of how popular it is with tourists. But I was greeted warmly and she was great all along, including following up afterwards to see how the items look in their final place. This will be my forever outdoor furniture shop in Santa Fe. To the other review who said there's better around town: No, there's not. Not even close. The range and selection at Moss is superior and I just wish I had more space (and money) to buy all the great pieces I saw. Ignore the naysayers. Go in and chat with Gloria. She really knows her stuff and she is very outgoing.

Yes. Gloria, the owner, is arrogant and dismissive. She sizes you up and decides whether she'll spend her precious time with you. Once she realizes you might make a purchase, her demeanor changes dramatically. I found this very off-putting but, nevertheless, purchased high end outdoor furniture that I am mostly happy with. One of the pieces chipped during the first summer in my garden or during winter storage in my garages. It looked like a defect in the paint. The furniture has a lifetime warranty so I returned to the shop to find out what could be done. Gloria was immediately on the defensive and stated that she didn't know how it was treated or stored during the winter months, laying the blame squarely on my shoulders. I reminded her of the lifetime warranty and she suggested getting in touch with the manufacturer. Really? It was clear that she didn't want to deal with it or me. So much for customer service. The chip remains and has, thankfully, not resulted in corrosion. I'm in the market for more outdoor furniture, probably from the same manufacturer, but will not return to Moss. Far better places that merit my support.

I would have received more attention from an online retailer than I did from the live person who was working in this shop. She totally ignored me, never looking up from her computer screen. I see others have had the same experience. But apparently it does not register with the owners. Retail 101: greet your customers and offer assistance!

Unpleasant experience. The website says the shop closes on Saturday at 5:00pm. I arrived at 3:51pm. The sales woman exited the bathroom barefoot, stared at me in shock, glared at her watch and stared back at me and greeted me by saying the shop was about to close. My recommendation is that they correct closing hours on their website and behave more professionally with shoppers.

Not so good. The website says the shop closes at 5:00. But when I arrived at 3:51, the sales woman looked shocked, stared at her watch then grimaced at me and told me the shop was virtually closed. She eventually regained her composure. If you close at 4:00, update your website. Not a great experience.
