This is the worst place I have personally witnessed. The staff are as welcoming , professional , and all around good spirited as a dog with rabies! The rooms look like they might house dogs with rabies! This must be what a 3rd world country hotel stay is like ! Save your health , time , and money ! BEWARE!!

Great location to downtown and stores. There's a gas station next door and whole foods across the street. Rooms were ok. Bed was very comfortable. Best part of the stay!! Good room rate for Santa Fe. Service could be better.

Location is great. This hotel is dog friendly which is what we needed. Really close to the plaza you could walk. It’s a little run down and I would lock your car. Just like every other town … homeless walking around checking things out. I would stay here

Great deal for a hotel within walking distance to the Plaza. Room was clean, with all the basics, including fridge. Heat worked well and the parking lot was cleared quickly after snow.If you have a dog, there are places nearby for potty walks.I was double charged for one of the nights and am still dealing with trying to reach the manager who can help settle the dispute.

This is definitely an economy hotel and it shows in the wear and tear. However it was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was great. It would have been nice to have phone plugs on both sides of the bed and a microwave and coffee maker. We stayed in room 245 and though there were rust stains in the bath, we found it to be very quiet.Walkability: Very close to the plaza and historic center.

Right in the heart of Santa Fe. Restaurants & Whole Foods across the street. Safe area. Walk to sites. Clean room & and bathroom. Comfortable bed/pillows. One star ding because no microwave and parking lot lights not on when we arrived. But probably due to time change.

Great evening receptionist. Free coffee at reception. Quiet. Perfect location for farmers market, art & museums, train station. Walking distance to downtown. Clean and spacious. Much better than expected!

The worst hotel experience I’ve had in decades. This is easily one of the worst hotels, if not the worst hotel, in the United States. I arrived at my hotel Thursday evening and was told that my room had been given to someone else and that there was nothing they could do. I showed them my Expedia reservation and told them I had paid months ago but the front desk person repeated there was nothing they could do. Shortly after a colleague of the front desk person joined the conversation and said that it was not their problem and that I should call Expedia if I had an issue. He also told me I could go sleep under a bridge. I left the property with nowhere to go and called Expedia who then called the front desk and now the front desk said they had a room for me and asked me to return to the property. Expedia has opened an investigation on the incident and tomorrow I will be calling Motel 6 Corporate to let them know how this franchisee is operating and damaging their brand. You might save money staying here but you will be staying in one of the worst places imaginable. Spend a little more money and stay instead at El Sendero, Pueblo Bonito or other far better two star properties in Santa Fe.

No fridge or microwave in rooms. Front desk was nice and helpful. Location is hard to exit(especially if you don't know the area). You get what you pay for. Prices should be lower with it having minimal amenities.

Our room was clean when we arrived, and it was serviced three times during our week long-stay. The only issues we had were the toilet clogging once and some of our key cards losing access to the room, but the staff were always friendly and able to quickly solve any issues we had.Food & drinks: There are lots of great restaurant and brewery options within walking distance.

It's a fine hotel for a single night! The rooms are nice and updated. The location is okay, close to some food and a coffee shop. Staff was fine! Don't book this expecting a luxury experience. It's a motel 6. It's just fine though and we felt safe!

Pet friendly. Price compared to nearby hotels was best. Well lit parking lot. Bedding clean; but rest of room was not clean. Good for an overnight stay. Take bleach wipes and use them. Excellent coffee shop across the street.Nearby activities: N/A

Do not stay here. During our stay, the front desk clerk gave a key to our room to another guest. I was laying in bed in only a bra and underwear when a complete stranger opened the door. I yelled at the guy that he obviously had the key to the wrong room and he left. This is a HUGE security breach. What if this random person had been dangerous? What if I had been asleep when a potentially dangerous person was given access to my room? Apparently Motel 6 corporate doesn't care about this issue either. They should have refunded at least part of our stay for this incident. I will do my best to tell everyone I know that Motel 6 doesn't take the security of their guests seriously. Also, our towels were only replaced one day out of a four night stay. The trash was also only emptied once. Other than Thursday, (the day they let some guy have access to our room) we left in the morning and did not come back until after dark. There's no reason for housekeeping to skip our room every day except Thursday.Safety: This property is obviously not safe if they're giving keys to occupied rooms to other guests. The same person who checked us in is the person who gave the key to someone else. How is this even possible with a computer? He should know someone is in that room.

You are getting a room here because it's close to the plaza for probably the best price in the area. The room is clean, but everything else is completely basic. Was a bit loud on the Saturday night we stayed but we expected that for the price point. The rooms are snug, but if you're only here to sleep it fits the bill. If you want some amenities, I would recommend other hotels. But if you are just there to sleep close after you enjoy the Plaza, then this could be for you
