Over priced. They do not post their prices on their website nor in the salon. I was visiting Santa Fe, and wanted my grey covered up a bit. At my salon at home, I'm charged $20 for men's grey blending. It's a quick, 15 minute procedure. This salon charged $113!!! (One tube of the stuff is $30 and it is enough for three applications.) I gave Juan the exact numbers for the formula that my stylist at home uses. When he finished, Juan said "That's a great colour, now I have a formula to use on others". Hmm....maybe I should have charged him for the information. They were inflexible on the price. A full-on colour job is NOT the same thing as the Aveda men's grey blending. Outraged.

I have been here twice, with different stylists, and twice had bad overpriced haircuts. I suppose it should have been a red flag to me that the stylist's own hair looked like something snaked from my bathtub drain. During both appointments I was trapped listening to one of the male stylists spread hateful gossip while producing very unflattering haircuts on older women. Two stars are for the fact that on both occasions, my bad stylists were polite, and I got free tea.

Do these people ever answer their phone? I have called on and off and never get a person to answer the phone.. I've gotten a good hair cut there so this is only about their reception and answering the phones. If you can get an appointment they have done a good job with my hair.

I travel a lot and have always gone to Aveda salons and still do -but not this Aveda salon in Santa Fe. This salon is undoubtedly the worst hair salon in Santa Fe but the worst Aveda Salon I have ever been to "ever". This salon was a very unfortunate experience. Juan, the hairstylist who did my hair was such a nice guy and if you ask me - he is way too good for this ghetto placement of an Aveda Salon. It is small, dirty and the manager is the least customer service oriented person I have ever met in any salon! He surely has to be a stain to be attached to the Aveda franchise. In fact, he and his salon were so horrible - I called and followed up with an email to Aveda Corporate Offices in Minneapolis in reference to this manager and his "horrible" for a lack of better words - customer service. It seems this manager has had many complaints and based on this I am not sure how/why they are still open. He is nasty on many levels! Oh and get this - Aveda Corporate Offices in order to rectify my horrible experience at this salon (communications were documented as well as recorded) they sent me a check for $500! No joke! Recap: Horrible manager, horrible customer service from manager especially, unfriendly staff, (except for Juan - he was very kind - Juan you are too good of a hairstylist for this salon) and the salon was very dirty! I would not recommend this salon to anyone searching for an Aveda Salon while in Santa Fe.

My wife was not pleased with her Aveda cut and politely complained as she made her payment in full. As a result, Aveda has refused to schedule any future hair appointments. However, they will sell her their hair care products (!?!) My wife was willing to give them a second chance. However, based on their response, we will buy product and salon services elsewhere. They must receive many complaints to create the need for a policy aimed at banning customers.

The salon is a bit small and somewhat messy. The shampoo station chairs are extremely uncomfortable - height adjustments, lumbar protection and leg support would be very nice. My highlights are on point, the stylist was able to get my color formula from another Aveda salon. The cut is okay but I am not 100% satisfied with the bangs which don't fall correctly and the trim around both ears is uneven. When I got home and I could see the finished product in better lighting, I noticed several uneven and straggly hairs over my ears. I don't know but when I spend over $260 (with tip] to get my hair done, I expect that I don't have to take out my scissors to clean it up.

Samantha has been waxing my eyebrows for about four years now. Wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Receptionist and manager are courteous and professional too.
