Great employees. parking lot is not secure, homeless are amuck. The interior is ki da dark and product's are not organized well like other petcos

For a minute, I thought I’d like coming into the store but now no. The last four or five times I’ve come into the store. One associate literally does not say hello. Looks and puts his head down.
There is only one person that works there who is really friendly and greets you when you walk through the door I wish I knew his name.
And today I went in and it looks like they were busy unpacking shipment. But the girl at the register seem like she was more bothered about the fact that she had to unpack boxes rather than be nice to her customer.
I am really sick of the lack of customer service that a lot of these companies have these days and it’s always with these really young people. I don’t think I’ll be coming into this location anymore. Definitely prefer PetSmart.

95% of this store is a result of the Buyer's interest in dogs. Cats exist too. They get 1 shelf. Then there's the health & wellness section, again 100% dog products. Otherwise it's a great store

The manager Phil is absolutely horrible. I dread having to come here. He's weird & has horrible customer service. How is this dude a manager??

The store is well maintained beside the sickening amount of dead fish stuck on the filters. It takes like 5 second to just scoop them out with a fishnet.
Update: We came back, and a new lady was being trained. The person who was training her seemed professional and knowledgeable. I have updated my review to 4 stars and hope that the aquatic department keeps on getting better.

We just stopped by to buy a betta and cost estimate the big tanks and stands. Everyone was very kind. However 12 minutes into our visit we started coughing, it got worse and worse. It's the air quality related to the birds. I'm an asthmatic. It may not happen to everyone. Please consider getting a few air cleaners?

Says it closes at 8pm but an employee leaving said they closed at 7pm!

This location would be closed early every day if they could. Literally ALWAYS closing early. No note on door and won’t answer the phones. Need food for your pets? Better call before you come.

I have been taking my dog to petco for training for a while now. She is his favorite person and a great trainer. All the employees are kind and attentive to both people and animals. We haven't tried the grooming since my dog has short hair, but the dogs seem to be happy. The prices are higher than a Walmart or target but similar to a petsmart. Great variety of food and toys for cats and dogs. Birds, fish, reptiles, and small mammals always seem happy and healthy. The only problems that I have had are the wet dog food is expensive and sometimes finding collers or clothes for a medium size dog can be difficult. This is because he is an xl in jackets but a medium/small in t-shirt.
