I took my dog to Petsmart for a groom. I was told my dog had knots on the underside of his ears that would have to be shaved off. I had no idea the groomer would shave the hair off both sides of his ears. The dog is upset and shakes his day and night, and isn't getting good sleep. I'm very concerned about him. Also, it took almost five hours to groom to dogs. My previous groome took 2 1/2. I don't live in Santa Fe and ended up sitting in my car. The photo shows my dog without his fluffy ears.
UPDATE: I found two cuts on the inside of my dogs ears. No wonder he was hurting.

I had an awful experience at the PetSmart in Santa Fe. I specifically asked for certain grooming services, but they did something completely different, and now my dog looks terrible.
On top of that, they charged me extra for some fur conditioner that I never requested. When I spoke to the manager about it, she was completely unhelpful and said there was nothing she could do. This was frustrating and unprofessional. I definitely won't be coming back to this location.

I had scheduled an appointment for my dog two weeks in advance and when I went in today, they told me that the time was actually scheduled for an hour earlier. I checked the confirmation email and even pressed confirm for 130 and we went in and number one we had to wait for over five minutes for assistance(understandble, probably working in dogs in the back), and the lady didnt even offer to reschedule us. We had to come back and show her the confirmation email, she said, “well it wasnt my dog, I didnt schedule it.” Someone needs to work on their customer service skills.

I have gotten a couple fish from here and 2 of them have died within the 2 days i’ve gotten them. They are selling sick fish. I told the employee that my goldie was acting a lot like the fish in the tank, when he was about to die and he said it’s because that there is something wrong with the oxygen. THEN WHY DO YOU STILL SELL THE FISH IF THEY ARE ALREADY ON THEIR DEATHBEDS??? Four recent times I went there were multiple dead and sick fish just floating around in their tanks at PetSmart. very sad. I was so upset that my fish have died and I was nervous that maybe it’s my fault but it’s not because the fish I haven’t gotten from petsmart ARE FINE and extremely healthy. The employees were nice tho, very helpful just don’t sell fish if they are already sick!! :(

I took my two long haired Chihuahuas to be groomed at Petsmart in Santa Fe, NM last week. It was such a bad experience. I carefully went over with both groomers about the service and cut, even showing them a photo of what I wanted. I had booked the full service - shampoo, conditioner, full grooming and I even paid extra for hand scissoring. When I got them back (in their carrier), paid (including $10 tips) and returned home I found they had not even bathed the dogs! They had shaved them so close that the male dog is still in pain five days later. They look absolutely horrible - nothing like what I requested and we had discussed. Very uneven and haphazardly buzz cut. My wife called them to discuss the problem and was treated rudely with a surly offer of another grooming, if you can believe it.
I will NEVER take my dogs there again and I will tell all my many dog owning friends to avoid them. They are dishonest and don’t even like animals, as far as I can tell. DON’T TAKE YOUR BABIES THERE!!

I had bought 2 fish from they're not even 2 weeks and they are both gone I've i spent about 30$ on both together and on top of that there were dead betas in the cups
