My Forester broke down, five hours from home, on I-25. Leonard with Precision Transmission was amazing. I would give 100 stars if I could. When I got their number from a list of suggested shops from the insurance company, I called, stranded, asking what to do, and Leonard not only answered the phone at almost closing time, but, despite it clearly NOT being a transmission issue, treated me like family, helping me sort through next steps. He squeezed my towed car into their packed schedule. Despite it not being their specialty, they were able to correctly identify the fatal problem. Leonard hunted for new/used engines, helped us with the final decision, and even asked that we call when we got home to let him know we were safe. In a situation perfect for possible rip-offs, Leonard was professional, knowledgeable, and honest. Our highest recommendation.

My truck was shifting hard. Leonard took a look at it and gave me options. Was fixed and shifting smooth within a week. Great service and communication. Reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend.

I wish I could give more stars than 5 for the high quality service and support that Leonard provided to me. My wife and I had driven to Santa Fe from St Louis for a memorial for her sister A problem developed with the transmission on Sunday, the day before we were scheduled to drive home. On Monday, Leonard listened with empathy to my tale of woe, and offered to help when he could, even with a multi-week backlog. Thank goodness there were multiple cancellations that day. Leonard and his team were able to diagnose a complicated problem that required several hours to repair. He communicated constantly with me, while we worried how much longer we would have to stay in Santa Fe. Leonard and his team completed the repair the next day, and we were able to drive home. A big thank you to Leonard and his team for such terrific support!
