We were a party of 10. The hostess spoke to the manager and gave us a table in a private room. Above and beyond. The food was good, I tried the huevos rancheros and the green salsa was very good. When at the buffalo thunder go to the red sage.

Nice dinner at Red Sage. We were visiting Buffalo Thunder and decided to grab dinner. Very nice place in the casino/hotel. Service was exceptional and food was good. The drinks were the highlight! Really nice.

In a nearly empty restaurant, with a reservation, the hostess attempted to seat us at the table closest to the kitchen. Plenty of beautiful tables along the window, so I have no idea. Thought maybe they didn't want to sit people right next to each other, except the VERY next person to walk-in was seated right next to us. Not an issue, just weird. Did she hate us?The tumbleweed salad was aesthetically pretty neat, but to hold the shape, they put like 3 times the normal amount of dressing on it. I got sick. Desert was uninspired and basic. Our waitress was delightful! Won't be back.

The service and ambience of this restaurant are great. The food is very good however, the kitchen cannot cook a steak to order. I asked for medium rare filet mignon, and ended up getting a medium well both times we dined there. The table next to us had the same issue.

Very over priced for the quality of food and service.

We had reservations and got served our food nearly 2 hours later when we tried to leave they rushed out our food and the steak was like chewing on a tire. The pasta was like a microwave pasta. My drink was forgotten and other people after us got their food and drinks before us and left before us. Wish we had left and gone to McDonalds instead!!!

It was Valentines day and the restaurant was packed. Excellent waiter, Able, and the staff was nice. But, we waited for our food for about an hour. And the rib eye was tough and cold. I would say if it were not for Able and the service he provided we would have been very disappointed. We are staying at the resort and not sure we will be back. At that price point I expected a little more consistency.

This was awful we sat down and ordered then decided we want a drink couldn't get a server for 20 minutes and then it took 40 minutes to receive a $50 somehow burnt and raw steak once we were halfway through the meal we received the drink we ordered. This was the worst $100 dining experience I've ever hadEdit: today we got 2 flatbread pizzas they are about the size of a child's plate and it was $50 please don't ever go to this place

Start off, the steak was okay (i prefer Texas Roadhouse steaks), but the pink diamond was delicious. Second of all, their pizzas are not that flavorful; mine was bland. The only thing that had flavor on the pizza was the balsamic vinegar. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was classy.

One star is being too nice. The wife and I stayed at the resort at Buffalo Thunder for the weekend. We wanted a "fancy night out" for dinner and resorted to the Red Sage. Ambiance is nice and low light, like what you would expect for a higher end steak house. Friendly staff! I ordered the ribeye steak. I'm a bit of a steak connoisseur myself as well as my wife. The steak was flavorless and drenched in what appeared to be a gravy(red flag number one). The cut was about an inch or so THIN(red flag number two). The crust appeared to be very black(final red flag). Cutting into my steak shook the whole table. You thought I would have needed a chainsaw or a sawzall. Absolutely the worst steak that $50 can buy. The crust of the steak was completely charred, leaving a nasty bitter taste. I sent my steak back respectfully. The chef came back with a much thicker cut of steak(about inch and a half), still with gravy and charred crust. All around, avoid this place at all costs, unless you enjoy boot leather steaks for a price hike. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Whoever is ordering steaks for this place, needs to be fired immediately, along with the "chef".

Had a surprise dinner date with my girlfriend at the Red Sage and it was a great experience! Our server Gabriel provided excellent service and was very attentive to our requests and situation due to our time requirements. We had a show after our meal and he made sure to be prompt and understanding so we weren’t late. He had a awesome attitude and knows how to treat a customer! We were thankful to get him as a sever. The food was delicious and met our expectations. Read some reviews before dining and were a little skeptical to be honest but our experience was right on par! Would recommend this restaurant to others and only advice is to definitely have reservations because it was popping so try to be early to avoid being delayed if on a time crunch. Would definitely like to return to the Red Sage for another date!!

Mr. Curtis, Our server was great. The hostess was really nice. They forgot to bring out my appetizer. My food was horrible. They bought me out a half inch burnt piece of meat. I asked for medium ribeye the drinks were OK. The food was very disappointing. By far the worst steak I’ve had in my entire life.

Waited 40 minutes for a table, we had reservations! Ordered the $49 Ribeye, would have been better ordering a leather belt! Not an impressive restaurant at all. I would not recommend to anyone! Many issue with the food tonight!Kid-friendliness: None

One star is too much. Went to dinner with a reservation for 1800 didn't get seated until 1840. There was 6 of us in our party and the food was either undercooked or overcooked! WAY over priced. we will NEVER go back to this place and we will be sure to tell our friends and family, as well as post our experience on social media.

We went here on a Saturday, luckily there was a cancellation so we were able to get a reservation. Food took forever, and when it came my pasta was sooooo dry with little to no sauce! Can't believe we not only waited almost an hour for the food, but spent $40 on a dry fettuccini that was crusty. However, we have eaten here before and loved it, the salmon was excellent. So maybe it was just a roughy day.
