I had to take my car in to get the front windshield replaced and this was by far an excellent experience. Got the job done within just a few hours and the technician Jesse was awesome! He was very polite, helpful and made sure to answer any questions I had. Very positive experience.

Safelite charged twice what other places in town estimated. I made the mistake of going with them because they are Geico's only authorized glass repair in the state. Given this monopoloy, they know they have a scam going, and literally charged twice what other shops estimated. Conveniently just under my Geico deductible.Go somewhere local. Get estimates before you commit to anything. Safelite is banking on you being gullible and going with the insurance partner without doing your research. I got screwed. Trying to help you not get screwed.Additional Update:1) Safelite did not provide any option for different qualities of glass. Following the windshilef replacement, there i now a loud sound from the engine which sounds like a blown out speaker.A Safelite technician inspected the seal and informed me that the glass he installed is inferior to the Subaru OEM Glass (again: I was never given an option) and this glass is less acoustically sealed, so they decline any responsibility for the fact that this 2018 in-great-shape car is now louder than an old jeep on the inside. So for the record:1) Safelite charged more than twice what local shops charge2) Safelite installed inferior glass for twice the price and assumes ZERO responsibility3) the glass has waves - it is not, in fact, clear. The wave in the glass are very obvious.Oh! But I can "chat" with an agent? Gosh how comforting. That should fix everything. A nice little "chat" with a bot.

Terrible experience, will make windshield worse than to begin with ask insurance for your own independent repair shop.

Great service. Very easy to book and they replaced my windshield in half the time they had estimated. Great people.

I scheduled an appointment to get my windshield replaced. I went there, and they said they couldnt do it that day and to schedule another appointment. the next available appointment was a week away, so i scheduled that. the night before my appointment, i get an email that it is cancelled. I tried calling a bunch of phone numbers to figure it out, but they were all automated systems that hung up on me.

This was just perfect. Mr Safelite rolled up to our door, got out the necessary tools, the correct windshield and boom. Not more than 45 minutes later everything was clean, Inside and Out and totally perfect. I highly recommend Safelite !

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The Santa Fe, NM shop had terrible customer service. Had an appointment for 1 pm, showed up on time, and left when the only person in the shop came out, asked for someone who wasn’t there, then went into hiding again. Corporate office couldn’t contact anyone at the shop. Can’t recommend Safelite in Santa Fe.

The night prior to the date of my 8am appt, we had a 6+ inch snow store at my house. I had to drive 45 miles to the safelite location, 30 of those miles were very snow packed and icy. Traffic and I were driving much slower than I anticipated. I ended up arriving 25 minutes late to my 8am appt. When I entered the shop there were no other cars in the shop that looked like it could handle 3 cars. Six workers were standing around waiting for work. I was informed that I was 25 minutes late and that they had a 9am appt. My car would then be treated as an all day drop off and not ready until the end of the day. I am not sure how many people it takes to replace a windshield, but SIX guys standing around need something to do. This is my daughter’s car and was the last day my daughter would be in state to repair it before driving back to college. I did not call the shop since the weather was bad and I was trying to get to the shop as soon as possible. In deciding what I was going to do, I was informed by the manager that my car had snow on it that I would have to clear off before it would be allowed in the shop. Additionally several signs said “Snow is not our responsibility…”. Of course it had snow, 6+ inches of snow still on the roof and packed ice under the wheel wells and underside of the car from driving to the shop. Still deciding and talking with my wife, I started clearing the car as instructed. The manager told me not to clear the car in their parking lot, that I should do that elsewhere. At that point I decided that this shop did not need my business even if they could get it done sooner than the end of the day. I can get this work done somewhere that respects their customers. This is not the only glass shop in Santa Fe. I would recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

John helped us out in a flash, offered detailed and thorough explanations re: damage and the work being done. John repaired my cracked windshield in about 20 mins as promised, and the results were amazing. Thank you, John for the kind and professional service! I would happily reccomend this location :)

Called the shop after my windshield was replaced to tell them the lane departure system was not working. They suggested I just had not turned the system back on. Wrong. Went back to the shop the next morning. After 2.5 hours they had not resolved the issue. I have had two previous windshield replacements and this was not an issue. So why now? I was told it was an issue with getting codes to resolve. I will be taking my truck to another shop to get this fixed.Follow-up: Tried to get these issues resolved at two other Safelite shops (one in Albuquerque, another in Scottsdale, AZ). None of the Safelite shops could figure out what was wrong. Three strikes and Safelite is out. Took my truck to the dealer that services my vehicle. They determined the shop had damaged the Driver Assistance System Module (DASM, the "box" around the mirror that houses the camera and radar sensors). The good news is that my automobile insurance will cover the cost of diagnosis (~$350) and the new DASM (~$2,000!). The insurance company will, in turn, recover costs from Safelite.

Beware of FRAUD!!! Technician said window couldn't be fixed, no service was performed but they still created a claim, billed my insurance company and were paid. Now I'm dealing with the mess, multiple phone calls to insurance company and Safelite, still trying to get this straightened out. Will never go back.

Came during selected time frame and got my windshield replaced in a timely manner. The tech was knowledgeable and professional. Did a good job installing a new windshield. Recommend highly. Easy to do the claim through insurance and not pay out of pocket if you have a glass policy.

My window was not placed right and won't go up correctly. Tried to call to get it fixed and just keep getting a bunch of recordings and transfers to no one. Guy gave me his card but doesn't answer and can't leave a message
