I stumbled by accident into this place because it was across the street from my hotel and I was too early to check in. What a wonderful experience I had. I was greeted warmly and everything meticulously explained. I had the mushrrom spinach crepes which were so incredibly delicious and started out with the carrot ginger soup which I could have eaten all day. I will definitely make this place one of my frequent dining places for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

Since our hotel did not offer breakfast, we had a daily quest for breakfast during our stay. Saver was a few blocks from our hotel, and provided a memorable start to our day. The breakfast menu crossed between French fare (we had something similar to eggs benedict without the meat) and Southwest (the person at the next table enjoyed a meal of eggs and chorizo). There were a number of locals at the place, chatting about politics, and that reminded me of cafes in France. We ended up having an extended chat with one of the owners, so our visit felt very friendly and welcoming!

My wife and I have been visiting Santa Fe for 20+ years and, unless we're guests at Las Palomas, which includes breakfast, we typically go to The Pantry or Clafoutis (both fabulous). This time the couple that owns the property rental biz we use suggested Saveur. It is kinda hard to find (we used the GPS on our phones) but it is a few blocks southwest of the Capitol. We walked in vs make reservations and it was about 3/4 full. The owners, a couple originally from L.A., greeted us warmly and we were seated immediately.We walked up to the food case, which had a bunch of prepared goodies, then, while we were studying the menu board, the owner began explaining the fresh food buffet to the right of the food case. Though the choices looked delicious, they were more suited (our opinion) to lunch v breakfast. We made a mental note to come BACK for lunch!After returning to our table the owner took our order: my wife got the spinach, 'schroom and Swiss cheese crepe, I ordered the ham and cheese crepe...both came w small salads (or soup or veggies). My wife got the mixed greens, I got the Caesar...neither came overdressed and the lettuce was crisp.Maybe 15 min went by and our crepes, which came as a pair, were delivered hot. Truthfuylly, we could have ordered ONE dish and split it given the size of the crepes! But regardless, we split them. The crepes were light, the stuffing seasoned beautifully and the sauce flavorful. It may be a sin, but if I had to ding the crepes, they came with TOO much sauce! However, that didn't stop me from cleaning my plate!The restaurant served a nice homemade ice tea and lemon water...and by the time we finished, the place was filling up w the lunch crowd. Having tried Saveur it's now even harder to decide where to get breakfast when we're in town! We'll be back.

It is right across the street from the decorative wagon near the street entrance to Old Santa Fe Inn, also convenient to the Veterans Building. Service is cafeteria style, then they bring anything not already on the line (such as the Reuben I had) to your table. Pricey but very good

Good food. The food here is carefully prepared and 'tasty'. Your order cafeteria style and the food is delivered to your table. This place is popular with locals. It isn't inexpensive, but at least you get 'real' food.
