We engaged Woods Design Builders in 2017 to do a remodel and addition on our historic home. We did so based on their reputation and our experience when the company was owned and managed by their mother and co-founder, ****** Woods. During our project, the management of the company was taken over by ****** Woods two sons, ***** and *** Woods. The process was an absolute disaster. We have been left with a home where many of the major systems have failed or are failing. In addition to shoddy work, their accounting is highly questionable. On top of that, much of the work was not permitted, inspected, or to code. If you are considering doing work with this builder, please do a background check on the current owners as well as the company. I wish someone would have warned us prior to hiring them.
