The green tamales were Devine. The drinks out of this world. Highly recommend. Get reservations. Walk up waited 1.5 hours. Worth it.

Extremely rude front staff. Went on a weekday when it was slightly busy. Seemed to be a little wait. Fellow couldn't lift his head to acknowledge us and tell us it was a 40 minute wait then turned around to do something else. Left to go somewhere that cared.

Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere! We got the house margarita, traditional pazole, and the burrito plate. They were all fantastic!

Meh. I wanted WOW. I can't reconcile the reviews I read on this restaurant and the entree I received, which was hard to eat. I went home and ate dinner at my hotel. Really disappointing. The server was friendly and the guacamole appetizer was all right. But all of the entrees at my table were bland and we all left dissatisfied.

The food itself was tasty but the tap water was actually truly terrible, it tasted like soap and sweat, and I noticed no one else around me was drinking their water either. Service was so-so. This place will get the job done, but there are way better restaurants in Santa

Bland. Dishes rely too much on salsa for flavor.Very disappointing overall.Service was excellent.High end margarita not worth it but I appreciated the option to order with lime juice instead of a mix.

Nice little hidden gem of a place. The place was packed at 2PM, but everything flowed like clockwork. The menu was full of local dishes, just what we were looking for.

Waited about an hour for lunch on Wednesday, which wasn't a problem because there are so many lovely stores nearby. Finding parking was challenging. The green chili stew was out of this world!

Sylvia is the best friend in the place. She keeps bringing the bread.

Just OK. I think it has some historical significance, but the restaurant atmosphere itself doesn’t appear to have maintained any historical resemblance aside from the exterior and location and is more of a dated small town diner inside. The food was meh. The guacamole didn’t appear to be homemade, maybe it was, but nothing special. The taco’s were ok, but again, nothing to write home about. The garlic bread was random, but I guess some sort of “tradition”.The price was decent though.

Surprisingly good food at a very affordable price. Highly recommend. Come early to beat the crowd if you don’t want to wait.

We came back again 5 years later and still enjoy this place. If you go, prepare to wait to get a table. The place is nice clean and cozy with little space to maneuver around. The service was great and the staff was helpful. We ordered the chicken enchiladas Christmas style, the green chili burrito and the kids had their meals. The pozole was really good, the mushroom was excellent and the green chili pork soup was extremely spicy. So spicy in fact, that I couldn't finish the green chili soup. The smoke and fire mezcal margarita was great, silver coin margarita was good and strong. Nice, trendy little place with good food. Oh cute story of why they serve garlic bread with the entrees. This place used to be an Italian restaurant..

Food is slipping. Margaritas used to be better. Seem weak.
