Love this store! Not only will you find unique treasures here, but the customer service is amazing! I stopped in the store and saw a bag that I loved but did not purchase. When I got back home to Colorado, I could not stop thinking that I should have bought the bag. I reached out to the store and purchased the bag over the phone and they shipped it to me within days! I am so appreciative of the extra mile they took to make this customer VERY HAPPY!!Thanks again, Finer Things!!

This place has a nice selection of vintage fine jewelry. However, seller beware! I brought in multiple Items including: diamond chandelier earrings, multiple heavy gold and diamond rings, two diamond necklaces, including a 5 carat tennis necklace. They offered me a total of $2k for ALL of my items. Subsequent to that, I sold ONLY the tennis necklace to another retail buyer for $3k! So, basically, I got $1000 more elsewhere for only ONE of the 6 items I brought in. I also got another offer for the tennis necklace for $2,500, so two buyers offered me more for that one necklace than what I was getting for all of my stuff at finer things. The same buyer who bought the tennis necklace also offered me $1,500 for the other diamond necklace and earrings. I didn't end up selling the other two items, but if I had, that means i would have gotten more than twice for only three of my items, than what finer things was going to give me for all 6! If you are getting a quote from them for your jewelry, i would highly recommend shopping around.

I purchased an Amber necklace and matching earrings from things Finer Way back in 2001 while on a trip to see Opera Santa Fe. The necklace is an exquisitely beated Amber cabochon. I wore it today and thought fondly of the day I purchased it. Hope to visit again in the near future and find another treasure. So glad to see the store is still going strong.

I took four rings and a couple of pairs of earrings to Things Finer to see if they wanted to buy any of them. They offered to buy all of them for a price that seemed much too low to me. I had a bad feeling about it and got my items back. I decided to sell them through an estate jewelry store in Denver; the owner was shocked to hear what I had been offered in Santa Fe. I later received more than twice what Things Finer had offered me for the whole collection from the sale of just one of the rings at the Denver store. I can not recommend Things Finer.

Shame on me. I should have known better. I had my doubts about the small Lalique swan I purchased. When I got home, I checked the signature and it was incorrect. I knew that the Steuben hand coolers were counterfeit and I knew that the large Lalique birds were counterfeit. I should have known better. Buyer beware.

Love this place for estate jewelry and silver/crystal/fine china as well as a variety of gift items. Have bought many things here through the years and love the couple that owns it! I bought many things in their two shops for my COVID care packs including Roman Coin cufflinks. Santa is bringing me this piece from the 1700s from France! Love this place!

They are always amazing in every season. This time it was a Day of the Dead display. Located in The Fonda Hotel, this shop has unique and fabulous gifts and things you will not find anywhere else. On our last visit in 2018, we tested many perfumes, and purchased three. One was out of stock, it comes from Turkey and we would have to wait for awhile for Things Finer to reorder. We paid for them all, gave our address and went home. A couple of months later, when we had begin to wonder what ever happened to our order, a package arrived in the mail. The perfume looked and smelled as good as it had in the store. They are of their word.

These two darling shops in La Fonda hotel on the Plaza in Santa Fe have an amazing assortment of items from all over the world, in so many price ranges... something for everyone! Beautiful antique jewelry, men's gifts (feather bowties!), sterling silver, and original and interesting Mexican jewelry from the forties and fifties. A feast for the eyes and the perfect place to get gifts anytime!

I ended up visiting this shop 3 times in 2 days! So many eclectic, unique items...I kept seeing new, special treats during every visit. Owners: very congenial, professional, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. Fun store!
