I recently went in to inquire about changing my business debit card to a cash-back credit card. Cheyenne and Manager Angelica were super helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up expanding my options into a money market account. It isn't easy for Banks these days with all the regulations and rules , however these folks have always stepped up and made every effort to make me feel like a valued customer and partner.

Terrible. They charge a fee for checks that are written from account holders. Talk about greed. Working class people get nickel and dimes to death.

I have been here twice and both times I was the only customer in the lobby, and both times there were four employees who ignored me and had me wait several minutes before helping me. Angelica Chavez was especially rude and dismissive. I'm not using this bamk anymore and I will not be taking checks from this bank from my custo.ers anymore.

Definitely would not recommend any branches of us bank to no one. They kept asking for a proof of address. As I had provided proof of address for a few months and cooperating with this broken system. They ended up flagging my account and closing it. Couldn't take out any money to feed my family nor pay any bills. Currently waiting on a cashiers check thats supposed to take 15 business days to get here. If the check doesn't get to my proof of address. I will be experiencing an eviction. Gotta love us bank for literally dropping the ball and putting your whole family in jeopardy.

Very very rude. Asked for change. Looked up my account. Wanted to know if it was for personal or business. Super angry about doing their job.

Horrible, they charged me 7 dollars to cash a small check that was from one of their customers US Bank check. Then they required me to give them my social security number, phone number in addition to my NM drivers liscense. Never going back to there, they were not even friendly. Avoid, there are better banks that do not charge to cash checks from their customers.

Bank manager would not assist me with what I needed. Was forced to close my accounts to not loose more money after 40 years.

the fact that they have closed their lobby due to lack of personnel says so much about how they treat staff and offer poor service. I am not able to complete some very involved banking. Also, they were to close out an account a month ago, and they still haven't concluded it. I'm disgusted.

Almost every time I come here the tellers are rude. The manager was supposed to order money for me to pay my roofer and call me when it was in. She didn't and when I came in 10 days later she just gave me excuses about being understaffed. She hadn't even "gotten approval" for me to withdraw my own funds so I had to wait. It's scary to me to not be able to withdraw my own money. She even gave me a bad time about where the money in my account came from even though I transferred it from one of my accounts at another bank. I'm going to close my account here and go elsewhere.

I think they try hard here and thank goodness for a local branch, but they need to do something about the wait time.

Recently, I experienced above-and-beyond customer servivce at this branch. Without going into specifics, I would like to say that both Angelica (Mgr.) and Danielle went out of their way to assist me with a unique, timely and challenging situation that was out of the norm. I was so grateful and impressed with their care and understanding of the situation that I will never forget it. This is the kind of customer service that is rare these days (unfortunately). It isn't forgotten and is what builds long-term customer loyalty. If companies could only realize this..Thank you again, Angelica and Danielle. You are amazing!

We started applying for a loan in Jan 2021 to purchase a lot for building a house. Since I started a company in 2015, my K1s got in the way and the first bank denied us right away before even going deeper into the application process. I did not know this K1 history in my personal taxes would be an issue so when we looked for another bank, I mentioned it right away. However, US Bank told me, it would not request the K1 since I am not having majority ownernship, a regular W2 and good salary. We went through the entire process and guess what happened a few weeks later just before closing? They requested the K1s and of course, a few days after that, I got a call and we were denied. AFTER paying all fees, filling out all paperwork, and receiving a pre-approval letter - denied for a reason they knew from my very first phone call.To rescue this entire journey, I requested if my partner can apply by himself and so he went on to a second round of application. After looking at the numbers, we were told he would qualify since nothing was really wrong: our household income is way above average, we pay every bill on time, have both credit scores above 800 and even saved for the 25% cash down. Another pre-approval letter came in and to keep the sellers happy while waiting, we agreed to pay a bit more in non-refundable earnest money. He paid all application fees, some minor paperwork had to be filled out. Well, and all this to only hear that US Bank sees a new issue, with our car. We own it for 8 months, but they would like to see payments for 12 months. So essentially, my partner was denied for a reason they once again knew beforehand. The car was listed in the first application and they had all the documentation about it before charging us fees and submitting the application. In addition, all the payments for the car are deducted from my account, so the loan officer suggested to take it out from my partners application. But I guess they needed to find something so it went back in. To me, this is a huge oversight of the loan officer, who should know what the rules are, what their underwriters are looking for and then make informed decisions to submit and charge fees or abandon the application. I am tired of hearing "Covid" as an excuse. If there are new rules because of Covid, it is their job to know and understand them. Just as I know the rules in my profession. The end of the story is: no lot, no house, around $800 in fees paid, $2,500 earnest money lost and US Bank who apparently sees a high household income not as sufficcient to pay off a lot worth less than our car. The rules make no sense and the loan officers have bad judgement on their own paperwork and their underwriters guidelines. I think I would get fired from my job when performing this way. I don't want to blame anyone but this review is to inform others that "during Covid" you can lose a lot of money and end up empty handed in times in which most families are struggling with paying bills anyway. But the banks make their cut.
