Price gouging on their "care club" plan is absolutely unreasonable. The receptionist struggled with basic math and could not give me an accurate receipt for my payment. They only told me about preventative measures to take care of my dogs teeth after he had to have several of them removed. They wouldn't answer my emails in a timely manner and they never called me back when they said they would. I'm incredibly disappointed and downright disgusted. I'm out $4000 due to their negligence. They charged me an arm and a leg and tried to scam and upsell me at every turn.

I was so looking forward to bringing my animals here because I have friends who are very happy with their pet care. However, after one visit, I would never return. The vet was so unpleasant and aggressive that my dog literally hid her head in my armpit to get away from the her. It's a franchise, so pretty corporate as well. I'm sure the care is fine but I would never go back.

The doctors and staff here are really patient and really kind. My dog had an unusual and extreme allergic reaction to a vaccine she was given, and the vets made sure to call with frequent check-ins and updates. There were a few follow-up visits that I wasn't charged for, which was thoughtful and a relief. One of the vets even reached out to the pharmaceutical company that made the vaccine and was able to get part of my $5k+ in vet bills reimbursed, which was unexpected and so, so helpful considering my otherwise healthy dog had such an adverse, terrifying reaction. I'm still waiting on the company, Zoetis, to get back to me about covering the rest of my dog's hospitalization and medication bills, but VCA has done all they can during the process and has been extremely thoughtful and engaged during this emotional, distressing time.

I adopted a dog from a local rescue and they were contracted with this office for the post adoption veterinary care.We had such a great experience that we transitioned our cats over to this practice as well.Everyone in the office is very nice and very patient with my anxious dog. One of the vets has a specialty in senior animals, and my elderly cat received excellent care when she was struggling.I really like the MyVCA app. Once while traveling our cat had to see another vet, and I was able to access my pets bloodwork and vaccine records from the app which was really helpful for that emergency visit.Skilled, friendly people, they've been great to our pets.

First of all, I'll say that the staff and doctors here are very kind, once you can get an appointment. It IS very hard to get a vet appointment anywhere in Santa Fe fe because there are so few of them.I will DEFINITELY trust them for larger, more serious or new issues in the future.... Hence the 4 stars... today would have been 2 stars (for friendliness of staff & location) NEWCOMER/ VISITOR TIP:If your dog comes to DRY Santa Fe and starts itching & snoring/sniffling (like you do because of the dry air), go to a local pet store for advice. Today was our second visit (first was last year) for this issue. Last year, we tried apoquel, with minimal success. Allergy meds only dry him out more....I called this year to see if they had any advice... figuring this is a common issue...I was told I needed to come see a vet for advice. $109 for the vet to say he didn't have anything to help. Headed now to pet store/herbalist to see what they can offer.

We had a bit of a pet emergency, but not enough to go to an ER. I called VCA first thing in the morning & they were able to work us in. Angela at the front desk was super attentive & caring. The vet techs were all very sweet and explained each step that the doctor would be doing. Dr. Sullivan was "da bomb!" She took great care of our fur baby -- explained what our options were and what she would do if it were her pup. We really appreciated that. We live here only part time, but this will be our vet office whenever we need a doc while we're here.

Been a patient here for a few years. Our dog has an ear infection, and they told us it would be 3 weeks before they could see her. THREE WEEKS for an ear infection. What happens to the dog during those three weeks. Even offered to pay the $150 emergency fee but they said an ear infection isn't an emergency! We're moving and have 3 days to get her seen somewhere. This practice is all about what works for them not their patients.

Initial visit was fine but when I called for a same-day appointment for an infection I was told the next available appointment was in two weeks. When I mentioned the urgency of treating an infection I was given the option to bring my cat to the clinic and wait to see if there would be an opening in the schedule... and then I would be charged $125 for an urgent appointment. Hmmmm if I'm going to pay your exorbitant fees, I probably need to go to work and NOT sit at the vet all day. I found another local vet who had a same-day appointment with no additional fees and the total bill was less than the VCAs "urgent visit fee."

Love in the Time of Cholera - It's not easy finding a new vet during COVID but Arrighetti made it painless to schedule and participate remotely with Dr. Newman who was thorough and completely reassuring. We are way pickier about our vets than we are about our personal physicians and are delighted to have found such a convenient location with top notch care. The techs who come to your car definitely have doggy charisma so the entire visit was stress free for our Rosie My daughter, who works in the industry, said VCA is the way to go and she was so on the money.

They were fantastic with my dog today. I work with humans and had no clue how to deal with my dogs emergency! They were so on it and took great care of Lola! I'm so grateful for Dr. Sullivan and her team!!

I adopted from a local rescue group, and VCA Arrighetti was one of the hospitals they work with for spay/neuter services. Despite my new dog being somewhat fear aggressive, Dr. Sullivan and the techs figured out how to get his surgery done with a minimum of stress while keeping the staff safe from his mouthiness. The surgery went well, and there were zero complications for this rambunctious 6 month old. Dr. Sullivan even found time to talk to me about medications that may help him in his fearful state. The practice was really busy that day so for her to take that time with us was very appreciated. It was a great experience during Covid times when customer service at most places is challenged. We’ll be a regular client here from now on!

We were new here in Santa Fe and had tried another veterinarian but were not satisfied. Our dog has issues with bladder stones and requires a knowledgeable vet and we feel very lucky to have found VCA and Dr. Armendariz. He is extremely informative, knowledgeable, and friendly, and we feel confident that we found the very best doctor in Santa Fe. He takes the time to explain procedures and has given us sound advice as to the care of GoDiva.

These people killed our young cat, who went in for a routine dental cleaning. We received a call saying that they forgot to remove gauze from his mouth and so he had asphyxiated after the procedure. It's been a few years now and it's still painful when we think of our poor kitty.

Just started using this clinic and am very happy I found them. The staff is really easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. The environment is clean and quiet. You have all their attention the minute you walk in. Fast and professional - that's why I'll return.

I came here to get my two mini schnauzers international health certificates for an upcoming move. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful throughout the entire grueling process. So thankful for this practice and their exemplary staff! Seriously -- it is such an undertaking and they killed it. THANK YOU!!
