Consistently the longest Pharmacy line I've ever experienced but the staff handles the cluster with efficiency, kindness, and patience.

So as a former pharmaca/ medly employee, I can say that we were pretty unhappy when Walgreens bought our pharmacy customers but not the store and closed it down. Apparently the higher ups didn't realize logistically what a nightmare it would be for people to get their prescriptions at Walgreens. I've been getting mine there for years, and found them to be very efficient and pleasant. The new influx of customers has thrown them into overload unfortunately. The Walgreens top brass are to blame. It's been both a disaster for the employees and the customers.\\nSadly, that's the American way. Profit over service.

The staff at this location is incredibly rude. I arrived at the store at approximately 1:15 to pick up a prescription. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, they abruptly shut the gate for the pharmacy and announced it was closed for lunch. We had no advance notice of the closure. When I asked politely if they would serve the people already in line, the very rude employee told me "no" and told me to "have fun. " From now on, I will have my prescriptions filled at CVS at DeVargas mall. Additionally, when I entered the store, it was incredibly dirty.

Thank you Pharmacy. Seems like lines everywhere for prescriptions.Fortunately I called and not put on hold for 30 minutes, like at Zia Walgreens.I was told I could pick up my prescription in an hour. Line short wait of 5 customers, instead of at Zia Walgreens which I counted 20 and wait of an hour. All ways be prepared with book to read in line and have patience. They are really trying to do there best.

Typical Walgreens, Josh was a great cashier. Haven't interacted with the pharmacy, so don't know what they're situation is.

Went to pick up my prescription today and waited in line twenty minutes. Once I reach the front with approximately 15 others behind me, they announced that they were closing for lunch and rolled down the gate. They did not announce or provide any notice that if you were in line at 1:30 that you were out of luck. Unbelievably rude. Hopefully the CVS in DeVargas mall where I have now sent all my prescriptions will be more customer friendly.

The Medley about a block away suddenly went bankrupt and sold all their customers to Walgreens. The problem is that someone at Walgreens failed to do the work to transfer the customer information. So when Medley said the prescription was ready, we headed to Medley, only to be told their pharmacy was closed and the prescription was at Walgreens. Head to Walgreens, only to be told that they have no such prescription, and it will have to be filled, please come back later and wait 30-60 minutes again. OK, fine, we get the call the next day, and head down, and wait another 45 minutes, only to be told that our insurance information was not transferred, and full price must be paid. We give them the insurance information, and they say the insurance is invalid. We need to straighten it out ourselves, then come back and wait again. Uhm, no, I'll go to Del Norte and fill my prescriptions there.\\n\\nAnd, as for closing for meal breaks, I'm not sure why they do that, we has to wait for the pharmacy clerk to finish her snack before she would help us...

The pharmacy can’t handle the amount of business they have. The line is always long. Picking up prescriptions here takes at least 30min to an hour. I’ve received texts from Walgreens that my prescription is ready and after standing in line for 30 to 45 minutes, the staff says my prescription isn’t ready and I have to wait an additional 20 minutes for them to fill it. They’re over worked and often rude and unprofessional on the phone and in person. Picking up my prescriptions is miserable.

Worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life. The store manager is incredibly rude and incapable. Horrible, horrible service.

This Walgreens is hell on earth, especially the pharmacy. They literally closed down for lunch when there was a line of people waiting for vaccines and prescriptions. We were all told to just leave. They’re also extremely rude and short. This is a pharmacy. Peoples lives are at stake and they couldn’t care less.

Be prepared for an overworked staff short on patience. "Sorry, we have 170+ prescriptions ahead of you. The one you were expecting at 5:30 pm yesterday is behind these." Then they hung up, no alternatives offered.

The main problem with this location is that pharmacy is unable to handle the amount of business they get, and it looks like corporate has no interest in improving the situation. Sometimes the folks are pretty nice, but some are clearly burned out from the non-stop stress. Upper management needs to step up. Why not build a small addition beyond the wall the Pharmacy is located on, and create an adequate space to handle the business. Hire additional staff as necessary.

Super rude.. the woman I just spoke with at the pharmacy was super passive aggressive about the fact that I had called in to find out if my prescription was ready…? That’s literally their job…

This is the worst place to go for prescriptions or COVID vaccines. I made an appointment over a week in advance to get my latest booster, only to get there early and be told to get in line. There were about 10 people in line, some of whom had appointments and some who were just getting prescriptions. After 10 minutes the line had not moved! The employees work hard, but the place is so poorly run it just didn't make sense to wait. What's the use of getting an appointment? I would recommend anywhere over this Walgreen's, they are slow, under-staffed, and don't seem to give a s***.
