Every time my husband is sick, including Covid, this pharmacy makes me wait for more than one hour. The pharmacist refuses to give the medication prescribed by the doctor. Right now I am waiting for more than 20 minutes only to talk to them over the phone because I saw the medication is delayed and under review, so I know that again they will not give him what the doctor prescribed. I truly hate when my husband tells the doctor to send prescriptions over to Walgreens because I am the one picking it up and having to deal with their attitude. I never use Walgreens for my own medications. Never.

Visiting from out of town and needed a prescription filled over the weekend. My local Walgreens transferred my asthma medication to this location but they said it wouldn’t be ready until Monday. I’m not used to this elevation and have been struggling to breathe all weekend. I called the pharmacy but spend long times on hold with no answer. I hung up and called back only to have the staff pick up the receiver and hang up several times. I went to the pharmacy in person and they had the doors closed. The lights were on and I could hear people working but they were locked up tight. I asked a front store staff what was going on and they said he didn’t work in the pharmacy and didn’t know what was going on. I asked another person on the floor and they said that the pharmacist has called in several times and they can’t open without the pharmacist. They encouraged me to complain to corporate which I thought was weird. They recommended I visit the pharmacy on Cerrillos 5 min away. The staff at that store was much nicer but the pharmacy was closed. I attempted to go to the Walgreens on airport the next day (hoping they were open) since they had my RX, but again they were closed. I called the Walgreens on Cerrillos but they were slammed from overflow from the other store. Ultimately, I went to the Walgreens on St. Francis drive. That staff was nice and helpful and got my prescription filled. The staff at Airport all seemed fed up, impatient, and could care less. I was upset enough to look up the District Pharmacy Supervisor to complain, but can only imagine that their attitude reflects leadership. So I take to google instead to share my experience. I’d go to any other Walgreens in the area since these guys obviously could not care less.

I understand that people in the pharmacy have to take lunch breaks but can’t they stagger the lunch breaks were not everybody takes it all at the same time?

Had an appointment for a vaccination at 11:50 AM. It’s now 12:30 PM and it’s going to be another 15 to 20 minutes. Almost an hour delay from my appointment time. Walgreens does not respect you or your time. Nobody mentioned anything upon check-in, that I would be waiting for a whole line of people ahead of me. It would’ve been nice to have known that information so I could have left sooner. 40 minutes of my time wasted. Such a bad customer service culture here.

2 weeks and I still don't have my medicine. I call daily only to be kept on hold 20 minutes and hung up on. I can't get a manager to answer either. I get its the busy season but seriously??? If you can go to CVS do so. Severely disappointed in this place.

I just spent 2 hours in line to p/u my prescription, and when I got in line there was only 4 cars ahead of me. Someone's not doing their job...who running the place, the kids or the adults?? They all are moving slow and look lost.

The worse pharmacy ever!!! Long lines both inside and drive through. Have had them tell me they don’t have enough meds to fill prescriptions. Website text to say prescriptions are ready for pickup then being told there’s no info that that refill was requested and don’t pay any attention to website because it doesn’t work. Staff including pharmacist are rude, slow, and don’t seem to understand it’s “their job” to fill prescriptions and communicate with customers. If I had all the time back that I’ve spent running back and forth to the pharmacy only to be told they didn’t receive refill request, don’t have enough meds to fill prescription, and waiting in never ending lines to find I’ll have to come back, maybe I could except their general incompetence. Unfortunately, that’s my bad for not switching pharmacies a lot sooner!

Wow... had to use walgreens, and was reluctant to, considering my other experiences at another store... Walgreens somehow decided to delete my rx from thier records. No record... never use walgreens. Any walgreens.

In line to check out, politely asked for the code to the restroom and the clerk looked at her clock and said "um, it's closed.". Sure lady, i know that game.

On the phone for an hour to get a Walgreens pharmacy please hold didn’t even get a chance to talk then on hold for another 20 min and hung up on. Are you guys serious? This store needs all new staff or to be shut down. This store is convenient for us as it’s close to the in laws but we will be changing pharmacy’s

This is quite possibly the worst pharmacy in New Mexico. Prescriptions are never ready when promised and staff are rude.

Wondering how Walgreens Pharmacy on Airport Rd continues to go down hill. I was on the phone waiting 28 minutes last night to see of my prescription was ready,, no one answered, then they closed at 9. Today I go to pick up a prescription at 1:30 and a sign on the window states, "there's no pharmacist on duty" so I called the store to speak to the manager. No one picked up. Message stated they're at lunch until 2. No back up staff, no coverage? This is ridiculous. Seriously considering using Walmart or CVS pharmacy from now on.
