I go to this bank fairly often to pay my rent (as my landlord likes the rent direct-deposited into his WF checking account). In fact, I am the one who added this bank to Yelp, which I have to do fairly often in Santa Fe. I plan to set up a checking account eventually, in addition to my Bank of Albuquerque checking & savings account. As their online bill pay is user-friendly and there are no hidden fees. I would give it 5-stars but there is always a line when I go inside. It is often that I can wait 5-15 minutes before getting helped. My tip to Wells Fargo? Add more than 2 tellers serving customers inside, especially during the hours of 12pm through 1:30pm, as a lot of customers spend their lunch breaks going to the bank and running errands. If you do that, I will bump it up to 5-stars.

Would give them zero stars if possible. Was there today trying to cash a check but was told because I did not have an account with this awful institution that I would need to take a seat in the lobby so the check for $150 could be "verified". Anyways after waiting over fifteen minutes for the ONE customer services representative; meanwhile there were over a dozen other employees laughing and walking around the lobby yet there was only four customers in the bank at that time. The "verification" process was nothing more than a sales pitch on why I should open an account with them. I declined of cours. Why would I want to open an account at a bank that would force non account holders that I do business with to go through what I had to go through to get my $150 today? ZERO STARS
