“Finally got home from the long trip across the country in my 22 Tacoma. Oil change light came on while we were in New Mexico. I found Hatch Toyota (in Silver City, NM) on Google and took my truck there for scheduled maintenance.
I didn’t have an appointment. The service advisors (there were two persons there at the time, and to my embarrassment I do not remember either of their names - a young guy and a lady) were super helpful and accommodating. We hung out in the lounge and enjoyed a cup of coffee while my truck was being serviced.
At some point I walked over to the showroom and while browsing I was approached by the sales person there. He was good. And I mean it in a positive way. He almost convinced me to upgrade to a new Tundra. Now, those Tundras are sweet. So perhaps it wasn’t too hard to get me convinced. But I love my Tacoma, too. So I promised next year when I’m passing through the area, I will stop by again and we’ll talk about the new Tundras then.
Back to the service department. The place is clean and well organized. The employees there were very pleasant to deal with and super helpful.
Yes, I live 2000 miles away. But I travel a lot. And I’ll definitely be back to the Land of Enchantment soon! I am now their customer for life!
