Bear Mountain Lodge is an excellent place to stay, highly recommended for its beautiful location set up in the trees on the edge of Silver City. It is one of the nicest places in town, with very nice rooms, a sense of place with a varied history, and lovely walking trails accessible from the lodge. The lodge, owners, staff, and menagerie are a fantastic treat, with friendly, warm, inviting, and top-notch service. Guests enjoy outstanding morning breakfast and coffee, solid breakfast, and fantastic, delish dinners like a home-cooked meal, beautifully presented in an art-filled dining room. There is a nice wine menu. The main lodge offers seating and a fireplace. It is a lovely, peaceful place, though some notes mention room for improvement on details like the breakfast offering. Some guests heard creepy noises. Overall, attention to details makes it feel extra special.
Excellent place to stay - highly recommend! We were visiting the area for hiking and recently stayed here for the 1st time. The rooms are very nice, great service, and beautiful location set up in the trees on the edge of Silver City. The morning breakfast and coffee were outstanding. You will enjoy it.

One of nicest places in town and I would go again. But room for improvement. No milk/cream at coffee station and the bead was quite dry. Curt

Lovely, peaceful weekend trip. Everyone was very pleasant and kind. Including the owners. We feel in love with momo the cat. Followed us everywhere. Heard some creepy noises in the room as well as boots walking around in the middle of the night on the roof.
