“The art deco style isn't my thing, but that's more just a personal preference. My friends enjoyed it. The price and location were right for this place so we stayed here. The room was fairly comfortable and everything was in working order. There was a lot of space in the room though the bathroom was small. There was also a surprising amount of storage in the room. No issues. The location is very convenient to the main street in town. Note that during a busy time parking could be fairly complicated. It's public/street parking only. Later in the evening when everyone cleared out, we were able to move our cars close.”
“Was impressed on how clean the rooms were. The microwave and refrigerator are newer appliances as well as the TV. The beds were comfortable and the pillows nice, soft and huggable. Too often at other motels, you go to open up the refrigerator to put your drinks in only to find out that they are turned off. Not so at this Motel, the little mini fridge was nice and cold and the freezer section fantastic. As far as the shower/tub and toilet, they were really clean but it is a small bathroom. I do like the layout as there is a 3/4 wall partition between the bathroom area and the bedroom. To me it's more appealing if you're a bathroom private person. Overall, the most important part to me was it was really clean and modern looking. The advantage of going to this Motel was that you're able to pull your car right up to the room. It makes it super easy to unload all your luggage and valuables straight into the room (bottom floor only). The AC unit does blow really well and cools down the room within a couple of minutes. There is also a Denny's right across the parking lot, very handy if you're craving an instant dinner or breakfast from there. They do have Dish Network TV with some premium movie channels. The clerk / owner, Bobby, was real accommodating and super great to talk to. They do offer breakfast, coffee and pretty sure juice; although I'm a late sleeper so I tend to often miss breakfast hours. Overall a very pleasant experience and slept really good on the mattress that was neither too firm nor too soft. Again, the pillows are nice and soft which is great for people with neck problems or shoulder problems that need to have that malleability within a pillow. The room also comes with an ironing board and iron. There is also a blow dryer by the bathroom sink. Very satisfied that we stayed there and we'll stay there again the next time we visit Silver City. Should you decide to book a room for the night, be sure to say hello to Bobby from me.”

“Good people own it. For the price, peace of mind, no thugs this is a good clean place for the price. No, it is not Caesars palace, it’s not fancy and lacks many things -but - it’s clean, SAFE and a good place to sleep without worries. Yes, I recommend it.”
“This place isn't that bad. Great location. Friendly staff helped me when my battery died. I didn't even have to ask. They just stopped what they were doing and gave me a jump start.”
“I stayed at the Palace Hotel for two nights and was very impressed. It is a historically interesting location to stay. Employees were helpful and friendly. Downtown location was awesome, several great restaurants nearby. I was visiting to reminisce as I had several decades earlier lived in Silver City and worked at the now apparently long closed hardware store next to the Palace Hotel.”
