The nice groomer came and got our extra large dogs out of car and returned them to car for us . They are both spotless clean from ears to toenails . Soft coats and smell amazing . “We have been buying from Doug since he opened the shoppe many years ago. He has always kept up on the latest research, dropped products that did not meet his high standards anymore, or didn't produced the results the manufactures stated, and brings in new products as research improves and new, and better products become available. He doesn't always carry the most famous brands, because they are not always the best, and many times have lower quality ingredients, or are bought out by major corporations that then change the ingredients to lower quality and still charge the high prices. Yes, the foods are more expensive, but you get what you pay for, and when your pets are on a quality higher nutrition food, they eat so much less. Over the years, I have calculated that it actually costs us less for our pet food because they eat less, and we have few if any unexpected vet bills due to ill health. They also poop way less :) Our animals are healthy and active, even into their old age due to the quality food The Pet Health Shoppe carries. If Doug doesn't have what you need, if he can get it he will. If what you think you want is not a healthy option, he will let you know why, then recommend products specific to your pets condition based on breed, size, food sensitivities and allergies, and other health conditions. If you still want that specific something, he will find out the closest place for you to get it. He hires people who care just as much about your pets health as you do, and trains them well. They are knowledgeable about the products, and if they don't know the answer to your question or concern, they will find out. We have 4 big dogs, three cats, and buy all our food, healthy treats, and good quality toys here. My daughter that grew up in Silver City and now lives in Tucson, worked at the Shoppe, and even with all of the options available for pet food, treats, and toys, she stocks up for her cats and dogs when she comes home, because the products at the Shoppe are better quality, healthier, safer, and cheaper.
