The customer service is grade A. Whenever I have a question or need additional help, I'm able to get in contact with someone and get an answer quickly. I had a positive experience this week and every time I go in there and just wanted to share. Keep up the AMAZING job FSB.

I was traveling through town, not from Soccorro and needed to send a fax for a medical appointment. I went to the window and asked. The young lady asked if I had an account there. I explained I was from out of town and asked if they could please make an exception. I also offered to pay what they thought would be a fair charge. She then went to ask the manager and returned saying they could not help me. I then asked again if she could just do a favor for me and she said she had already asked the manager and they "can't help you." I asked "Can't or won't? You obviously have a fax machine." I was appalled. Why could they not do this simple thing for a person in need? Is this community support and involvement? Is this the kind of business that deserves support from their community? Pathetic.

Very inviting lobby including a working fire gas place, a complimentary kuerig coffee bar, and three tellers who are all quite friendly and accommodating. It's almost like visiting someone's living room. Best news is that there is an ATM outside. Plenty of free parking. They offer all the usual banking services as well as safe deposit boxes. It's a pleasant place to bank.

I have been a loyal credit union member for almost 40 years. Today, however, I have found a bank that will serve my needs. As soon as I walked into the bank, I was greeted by several people in a friendly manner. I asked some questions of the young lady working at one of the desks, and she answered my questions to my satisfaction. Since I wanted to give the local credit union a chance, I went over there to ask the same questions. There, I was met with curtness, nothing friendly, and the teller was one step away from being rude. As I left that establishment, I took money out and walked back over to First State Bank, spoke with the same young lady who initially helped me, and within 15 minutes I had my new account set up and running. The customer service is top-notch. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I haven't had sufficient time to see how well they do in the long haul. But for now, they get two thumbs up!

Terrible place to do business with people at this location are not very friendly had a free checking there in 2010 left Socorro without any notice they started charging me a fee on account which caused me to be in ChexSystems never got any notification from this Bank now I'm dealing with ChexSystems to get this cleared

I'm glad you're helpful to your in-state customers. For out-of-state visitors, not so much. I couldn't even exchange a U.S. $10 bill (legal tender) for a roll of quarters because I didn't have an account with your bank! A simple cash exchange. I've always been able to "buy" change at any bank, even overseas. I can't believe the lack of customer service. I wish I could give you no stars.

The kind of friendly small-town bank where can meet the bank president (which I did!). They keep three tellers open at all times so there is never a wait.
