Great ski day! Fresh snow and early season conditions, but always a good time.

Beautiful location in the mountains to visit and see the autumn colors. Walk around. Sit and have a hot beverage and admire nature. And imagine how magical it would be in winter snow.

Love love love this place! I've been here to ski and hike and I can't say enough about it. As a skier I feel like they have one of the best ski schools. I also enjoy camping here and hiking. They have many hiking trails. I love Williams lake trail. I've done the Weeler peak hike as well, but only after lots of planning and conditioning. The people are always friendly and they keep updating and growing. However with that being said, they continue to have that basic mountain feel vs some of the uppity ski resorts. I call this place my home away from home.

It's so beautiful in this alpine resort. We came to visit in August, so it was warm and sunny with plenty of hiking. They even have a lift to the top for a moderate fee. There is plenty to do and see.

A welcome relief from the heat of the valley. Just beautiful. We were able to eat our food we purchased from the brewery on a picnic table right next to this gorgeous little stream amongst the Aspens. The food was some of the best we've had! ?

The skiing is AMAZING! Even beginner and intermediate skiers are going to have a blast. The village is old but has a charm about it. Our airbnb needed some TLC. We spend a day exploring the rio grand and another day in Santa Fe. I would definitely go back in a few years.

Amazing mountain. Slopes are wide and has enough space for varying skiing levels. Kachina peak runs are very satisfying to ski (although quite challenging). There are multiple restaurants in the mountain which makes a multi-day trip more dynamic. If you’re flexible and plan ahead, there are options for very affordable lift tickets.

My husband and I had the time of our lives at Taos last weekend. The resort is well cared for, the food was top-notch, and the staff was lovely. We will definitely be back next season.

Incredible views from every vantage point whether on the lift, at the base or on the slope! Lots of powder and so many tall trees to weave through if you dare. We dared not b/c the steep slopes were challenge enough. Lots of signage, helpful staff (that go above and beyond, if needed) and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Lots to this mountain to discover. Great mountain with great snow. A little off the beaten path, but that’s what make this place special. Loved the vertical and longer runs.

It's been awhile since I've been here. A few changes but none bad. This can be an intimidating mountain but really there is something for everyone. This is the place to take ski lessons. It's the best & biggest of the Northern NM ski areas. It still has a good vibe and a local feel. I recommend staying on the mountain but if you don't you need a car. The 3 drawbacks of this place are the lift prices are high, high winds can cause lift closures and lack of transportation to the town of Taos. Lift improvements are coming plus a base to backside gondola.
