This is hands down our favorite restaurant in Taos. After dozens of trips down here we have been lucky to eat at many restaurants here. Every dinner we have had at Aji is melt in your mouth good. We have had the soups, ceviches, salads, empanadas, yuca fries, trout, salmon, duck, and desserts. We have loved everything!! Also the cocktails are incredible our go to is the pisco sour and old fashion. The space is cozy and welcoming. Thank for you for the most unforgettable meals! We will be back on our next trip! ❤️Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu has gluten free options

We had an exquisite meal here. Peruvian fusion restaurant with a top notch chef. Atmosphere is intimate and upscale. Prices are reasonable. Great date night vibe.

We had a WONDERFUL dinner here last Wednesday. We all loved our food, even though we got a variety of dishes (steak, seafood, empanadas, etc). This is definitely a "don't miss" when visiting Taos. Great Pisco Sours too!

After looking at reviews we figured we’d have to see if for ourselves and what a treat it was! The service was great and they were very friendly. We loved the quinoa shrimp and steak stir fry. Delicious! Would not recommend more for a date night or group!

FABULOUS MENU AND COZY ATMOSPHERE. This restaurant was the one spot we dined out at while enjoying a long weekend in Taos. The table started with ceviche which does not come with chips but it was some of the best and we’ll seasoned fresh fish I have ever had. I ordered the trout with a side of creamy couscous “risotto” for my main and it was cooked perfectly. I was not surprised there were a few bones to pick out but I was prepared to enjoy it all nonetheless. The skin was crispy and the meat was juicy - job well done.

This food was AMAZING. We got the chicken empanadas, ceviche, duck and arroz con camarones (quinoa with shrimp). We are from Denver and this is the best food we have had in a while. Drinks and service were also good but the food was really the standout.

My husband and I had the ceviche, duck, shrimp chowder, and the passion fruit cheesecake. It was all excellent and totally worth the cost. The chowder was served with a small amount of crusty bread, but for such a big bowl could have used more. Besides this, the food was very good and the service was as well. The beautiful Peruvian art also added a nice touch.

We drove Taos from Texas and dined in Aji for date night + birthday occasion. Atmosphere and server was nice and food was exceptional. Ribeye come with 2 sides was 29 dollars and it was a good deal. My bf liked it and my favorite one was empanada and quinoa risotto comes with trout.

We got the duck and the paella. The duck was so tender and the sweet potatoes on it was so creamy with the perfect sweetness contrast. The paella was perfectly seasoned and creamy. I highly recommend dining at Aji, one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in a while.
