If you bring an AutoZone battery in to be tested that is out of warranty and completely drained, the younger new staff members will test it and say "it's totally fried!" and tell you it would be pointless to try to charge it. Either they don't understand the difference between a dead battery and one that will not hold a charge or they're maliciously trying to sell new batteries and take your perfectly good one. Either way, push through and insist that they try to charge it.They start new employees out at minimum wage so I'm not even mad at the people working here. It's obviously the company being too cheap to pay anybody who knows anything.

Good workers. Friendly. Most of them are full of information. Others not so much. I tried to get a job there... But the hiring process took way too long. I ended up finding a job in two days while I'm still going through the hiring process at AutoZone. So I never got to work for AutoZone

I love this place and the workers. Always smiling faces on all. The best part is Zack Garcia knows his job and does an exceptional job too! Always very kind and friendly with his customers and goes the extra mile for everyone! Definitely recommend going to his new location in Albuquerque next week!

The only reason they get the 2nd star is because of Zack. He was extremely helpful a few days ago and went the extra mile to help me out, he was also helpful today. However I went in to pickup my extremely important online order today, that I was told to be in stock days ago and that I already got charged for is definitely not in stock and never has been. From what I'm told they "hoped" it would be in on today's truck which was also something I was never told. Now I was told it would be here tomorrow morning and I can pick it up tomorrow evening. Worst part is my truck is getting delivered to the shop tomorrow so without the parts that doesn't work. All in all this will most likely be the last time auto zone in Taos NM will get my business. And I will definitely steer my friends and family away from here as well. Not to mention I had to drive an hour to here... Thanks for nothing auto zone!

Zack at Autozone in Taos, New Mexico replaced our battery. We had the wrong size in the truck that came loose on the road. Not only did he help us exchange the battery after a long day but he personally put it in the truck. He was very polite and funny. We can't thank you enough for your help! Ask for Zack!

June 22 at 1130 I came in with a receipt to pick up a couple Fram oil filters. The girl at the counter asked me a question I did not understand. I said I don't know, I just have this receipt for paid products that came in. I gave her may name and receipt. She came back and said it has not arrived or it's been shipped back. I said I don't understand that, since I was given a text message that they had arrived. She came back to me and said so you have snow chains? I looked at the screen and saw she was looking at a different customer with the same first name. I asked why are you looking at Romero. She immediately said to me "you don't have to be rude". I immediately said back to her, "you don't have to be rude to a customer. You may want to counsel this employee not to be rude to customers and to pay attention to what she is doing.

Actually I went in for just a couple of items...silicone glue and Scott oil absorbant blue paper towels. I ended up cruising up and down the store and bought some electrical bullet connectors, clear coat spray paint, a 24mm wrench, and a bunch of other stuff I needed for my 1976 Honda CB750 project.I do like the variety of small items they stock.The employees were friendly and helpful also.FIVE STARS!
