Me and my Partner had the pleasure of staying in Casita A while we stayed for an extended time in Taos. The property is peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. We loved staying in the Casita, it is incredibly cozy and includes everything you need. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment, so we were able to cook as much as we would back home. Jim and Nancy are wonderful people who went above and beyond to make our time in Taos amazing. We will definitely be returning!

This was absolutely my favorite place that I have ever stayed ! The casitas have everything you need, great location, cozy atmosphere and Jim, Nancy and Crystal are not only accommodating, but super kind and friendly as well! It is evident that they have put their hearts and souls into making their place the perfect home away from home - a true gem indeed!

We spent June ‘22 at Burch Street Casitas. This is our second stay. We were very pleased the first time and did not hesitate to return. Jim and Nancy, the hosts, were always happy to assist with any questions we had. Every Casita has a fully equipped kitchens, washer dryer, cable TV with Netflix and a patio for coffee and cocktails. The location is within walking distance of the plaza, restaurants, Dunn Street shops, Kit Carson park, museums, a grocery store, etc. In other words , “Location, location location.” It’s nice to have a car, because are a-lot of interesting things to do within a short driving distance and you won’t be stuck paying absurd parking fees. Parking is free. If you are looking for a home like place to stay in Taos and want to have a month escape, this is your place.

Casita A was absolutely darling! Beautifully decorated with local artwork, the wifi worked great! Loved the huge king size bed and all the amenities were provided just like home. It was great to be able to do a load of laundry while there and light a fire in the fireplace. They provided the wood for the fire and there was a quaint patio to enjoy in the back. The area was safe and quiet and within walking distance to the plaza and restaurants. Just like home away from home! I highly recommend it. Jim and Nancy were so friendly, just like family.

We stayed here for the last two months and felt at home from day one. The space was warm and cozy (love the heated floors!) and so convenient. The kitchen had what we needed to cook full meals and even bake cookies. The in-unit washer/dryer was so wonderfully appreciated for our longer stay and we were only a short walk to town for coffee, a stroll around Kit Carson Park, gallery browsing or dinners out. Jim and Nancy are fabulous hosts. I will recommend a stay here to all my family and friends.

It was the perfect place to getaway and decompress. I rented Casita C for a month, but wish I could've stayed longer. Very quiet, immaculate and unpretentious, with Just the right touch of decorations to provide authentic southwestern feel. The kitchenette and cookware are very basic. The hosts were so very caring, gracious and responsive to my needs and requests My only complaint was the invasion of ants into the units, if even a crumb of food left on the floor. Also a screen on door would be nice to enjoy the fresh air. A very disoriented prairie dog "coming out of hibernation" entered my Casita through the unscreened open door; It was reluctant to leave and had to be pushed out after a 30 minutes visit! ;) Nevertheless, I'd definite stay again! Great place to launch day trips by car to explore the surrounding areas or just spend time leisurely walking to nearby Taos Plaza and parks.

Wow! I've never arrived at a place and so instantly felt at home. These sweetly-decorated, well-appointed casitas have everything you need and none of what you don't. My favorite feature was the radiant heating in the beautiful terracotta stone floor; arriving in winter, the place was always toasty, cozy and comfy, and my feet never cold. The peace and quiet here is also otherworldly. I usually wear earplugs to sleep--and haven't ever needed them here--and yet you can walk to the town plaza in 10 minutes. And a place like this doesn't come to be without special owners. Jim and Nancy take exceptional care of this place; it shows everywhere you look/touch/step. It's been a real pleasure to call it home.

Stayed here many years ago and absolutely loved it. Beautifully appointed private apartment-style digs that makes you feel completely at home. The location is also really great--off the main roads so you feel secluded, yet still close enough to everything that you can get out and walk around. Private parking and good hosts. Someday, I will return...

Such a peaceful spot and so homey. I recently moved to Taos for a new job and stayed at Burch Street Casitas for 3 months! My mother and my aunt traveled out for a pre-move visit and when we walked into the Casita for the first time we knew it was the place. Jim and Nancy treated me like family and their genuine care and attention to detail is PRICELESS! If you are coming to Taos THIS IS THE PLACE! There just aren't enough adjectives to describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to stay at Burch Street Casitas. I have gained incredible life-long friends! Thank you so much for EVERYTHING! Shelley Unit B!

This place is both off the beaten path, AND close to everything in Taos. All of the art galleries, restaurants and shops are a brief walk from the casitas. We had a large family group in three separate casitas, and it a was a great set up. Everyone had their own space, and were close by to discuss plans and meet up before meals, etc. Jim and Nancy were also great hosts, and a weath of knowledge about Taos and the surrounding area.

Burch Street Casitas is a wonderful place to come relax and put your feet up! Burch street is a beautiful street very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle but still within walking distance to shops, restaurants and entertainment Taos has to offer. The Casitas are fantastic, cozy, and very clean. Its a home away from home! Owners Jim and Nancy are warm and welcoming they meet your needs and take great care of you!
