We are from Albuquerque. On our way to drive one of our favorite roads in northern New Mexico, the Enchanted Circle, several BIG BOLD paintings on the front porch of a simple adobe house caught our eye. We had to stop. When we entered the building we were drawn into breath taking, sweeping, intense colors and a sweet dog named Lola greeted us. Unlike many galleries where we're either assailed by an artist who can't stop talking about themselves or worse, barely acknowledged, Ken Feldman introduced himself, warmly asked about us and invited us to explore his work. As we moved along we were drawn into our own New Mexico landscapes seen thru Ken's eyes and a touching story or two . We cannot boast owning a lot of original art but we were drawn to purchase one because we'd hiked that green and gold forest and wanted to feel that place in our home. My husband is telling me I'm started to sound sappy so I'd better stop. If you're a "tourista" or a local, enjoy the Taos plaza and all this unique city has to offer, but do get off the beaten path and meet Ken Feldman's New Mexico.

We were able to look at the artist's new gallery-studio to shop for a painting. This new venue was very inviting and comfortable and the artist was helpful in giving interesting background of each painting which made us appreciate his talent. The artist was customer friendly and made the acquisition a pleasant experience. Enjoyed meeting Lola and we look forward to visiting next year.

One of the most original studios I have seen in the Southwest! Large abstract like landscapes of Northern New Mexico. Incredible color and light! A must see if you're into contemporary art. Studio is on the quiet side of the plaza down 3-4 blocks. Unique experience!

I love CID's. They have a huge selection of all types of organic foods including delicious and healthy snack foods. This is my go to store for appetizers when I have company.

This studio has amazing modern Southwest art! Paintings and prints are colorful, expressive, dramatic. Unlike other art galleries here. Cool adobe studio building on the quiet side of the plaza, maybe 3-4 blocks north. Owner artist takes time to explain his work so you really appreciate the uniqueness. Prices vary.

Ken does great work with his variety of art work. Each painting is vibrant and filled with details. He captures the beauty and essence of the Southwest. I plan to take some of his art lessons in the near future!
