We stayed here for one night due to my grandmother's funeral. I want to start off with the positives the staff was super helpful! The resort is beautiful. The pool and jacuzzi are beautiful. They also let us check out at 2 pm no additional charge the day of the funeral, Which is appreciated. The cons. The room had alot of issues and I think for the price this shouldn't of happened. Not clean, dusty, mold in rr around tub and holes in molding and walls etc. Also the heat kept going off and was not turning off. The sink would aggressively spray all over each time you used it. I have alot of family in Taos and I'm not sure Id refer them or if we will return.

Paul sucks. I don’t know what he’s going through right now and I wish him the best, but eye contact at least once would be cool. Only time he almost seemed happy was when I asked for something that they were out of. Valet crew was amazing. Vincent was especially hospitable. Those workers have a huge potential in a long term hospitality career. Food was lacking in flavor and presentation for the price point.

My daughter, her best friend and myself stayed at the El Monte Sagrado Jan 9th-12th. We had a fabulous stay! The service was wonderful! While in Taos we visited the Pueblos, old churches, Historic Plaza, Taos Ski Valley, and ate incredible food! The resort location was perfect for all our outings. We also got dessert and drinks one of the nights at the restaurant/bar and experienced exquisite service and everything tasted delicious! We will definitely be staying here again!Rooms: Our room and balcony were perfect!Nearby activities: We visited the Pueblos, old churches, historic Plaza, Taos Ski Village and ate so much good food! Everything was convenient from the resort.Food & drinks: We had dessert and drinks one night during our stay and everything was delicious, beautiful, and top notch!Noteworthy details: The staff at El Monte Sagrado was superb. From the front desk, valet, and the service at the restaurant/bar! Impeccable!

Every single staff member was so sweet and kind. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade and something very unique that I noticed about every staff member we crossed paths with was that everyone seemed very genuine in their greetings and check ins. It didn’t feel scripted (even if it is). The energy is deserving of a raise <3 shout out to Carina, Jordan, Dolores, and everyone else! The room was big and beautiful. We had ground access to the patio which made it really accessible to take our dog out into the huge grass field outside our room. The spa tub was soo nice. The bed was nice and firm, I wanted to take it home with me. The bathroom has really nice lighting. There aren’t microwaves but when we asked for one they accommodated us.The pool/hot tub area was so gorgeous! The natural lighting, plants, and flowing water was really peaceful.Food was amazing. Props to the chef and food service staff.Typically I wouldn’t stay somewhere like this because of money. But this changed my perception and I will be coming back for a longer stay.Food & drinks: The breakfast patio is the most gorgeous place I’ve ever eaten food. Natural light and a plethora of plants. The design from floor to ceiling was really pretty and aesthetically pleasing. Dolores was so kind and accommodating to us. She has such a calm and caring demeanor. Give her a raise! The food expeditor was very thorough in checking in on us after dropping food. The floor manager was diligent in keeping things running smoothly. And the food was EXQUISITE. Best French toast I’ve ever had.

We loved staying here. The service and everything was top notch. We’ll definitely be back. The pool is awesome and the hot tub to go with it.

Just checked in today, at exorbitant prices I expected a luxury hotel and spa. Unfortunately, the service I have received so far has been disappointing to say the least. We are a family of four staying 4 nights and got no help with our bags. We asked for a luggage cart to help us get bags to our rooms but they were all in use. Both the valet out front and reception asked if our whole party was present before we could check in. What? The valet gave us directions to park and told us if we couldn't find a space come back and they'll valet park us.The rooms are clean and comfortable, but not what I expected at this price point. We made reservations for dinner, and got a call that they wanted to confirm my reservation, but also to let me know that they didn't have availability for the time that i made the reservation.I'm sorry I booked here and I'm incredible irritated at the price I'm paying. Considering canceling the rest of the week and going somewhere that doesn't feel like such a burn.

This place is absolutely amazing...Totally beautiful! The ONLY thing I wish could've been different and to take note of: The jet bubbles to the hot tub did not work when we went 12/20/23 & their absolutely beautiful pool is NOT heated. In fact, it's ICE cold! This REALLY SUCKED bc that would've been so nice & it's One of the main reasons why I booked this place. Nonetheless, the hot tub was nice but the walk back to room wasn't in 25° weather haha, but we loved that experience so no complaints! Also, had an outside hot tub with our room we used, and looking at the snow in the cold weather was definitely a bucket list check off to do. The whole facility is beautiful and breath taking, and their hospitality services are beyond amazing. You're able to text your concerns or issues to the designated number and they respond right away. Loved the staff here for sure!Rooms: They were SO COZY! Gas fireplace and radiant floors where the floors are heated (very awesome!), there's no microwave, but there's a mini fridge and coffee maker, etc. Has all your basic necessities like blower dryer, ironing board/iron, etc etc.Walkability: They only have 1 parking lot so if your room is towards the back, it can be a long walk. Ours was as we stayed in #23Noteworthy details: The jet bubbles to the hot tub did not work when we went 12/20/23 & their absolutely beautiful pool is not heated. This REALLY SUCKED bc that would've been so nice!!!

We rented a pet friendly room for one evening and the room itself was beautiful, but expensive. Our first floor room was perfect with easy access to the park-like grounds. The one item we desperately needed in the room was a microwave as we were traveling with frozen dog food that needed to be heated, but we managed without it. The only gripe of the visit was that the water pressure in the shower was so high that the drain could not accommodate the volume of water, therfore, we took our showers with water over our ankles. We had to turn the shower off before the water filled the bathroom. We ordered room service, which arrived promptly, and found the burger and sandwich to be very good... Overall, this was a very nice property that looks to be under renovation.

Love staying this hotel - it’s really a treat. We’ve enjoyed guest rooms as well as the little casitas. They’re all comfortable and well appointed. And it has a comfortable little bar. But…** Be careful in dealing with the spa. **I’ve had countless nice services over the years, but on a recent trip, there was a booking problem, and despite my having an email showing the appointment time at which I arrived, that time was not available when I arrived for my service. No problem. I can come another time - things happen. But then I was charged for 2 massages that weren’t performed (as a no show) - without much in the way of apology! I have enjoyed some really nice treatments here, including a heavenly Ayurvedic hair treatment that seems to no longer be available. But if this is any sign of things to come, perhaps it will be advisable to skip the spa and enjoy the scenery.
