Coziest seating and most spacious of the four coffee options on the plaza. You can sit in front of the fireplace in the La Fonda lobby, which is connected. The slight chili pepper heat in the Mexican Mocha was perfect for a snowy day.

They no longer serve Starbucks. The hot cocoa isn't good. Customer service is okay. Seating is extremely limited. Parking is extremely limited. There are other places around that would be worth going to if you wanted to sit for a while and enjoy the town. It is inside the motel, if you are looking for it, just as you enter, to the left.

Inattentive staff, poorly made latte, and cold muffin.

Stopped in a couple times while we were visiting. My parents are huge coffee snobs and they were both very impressed with the quality of beans that are used here. I got the London Fog tea and added a smidge of honey. It was wonderful for a cool October afternoon. Went back a couple days later and the barista remembered what my dad had ordered days before! Definitely a pro!

The espresso was just ok; the veggie burrito was soggy. The barista was moody and standoffish. The worst aspect was the location, on the plaza. What I was hoping for was an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. What I got was a bunch of uptight, narcissistic passer-bys, unable to stifle their petty complaints that my two exceptionally well-behaved dogs sitting outside on the pavement might constitute the slightest impediment to their forward progress, on their journeys in search of overpriced, knock-off huipiles and indescribably weak margaritas. Although not entirely attributable to the cafe, sitting outside on the terrace in the middle of a calm Wednesday afternoon with my two blissfully sleeping dogs felt at times like suffering through the fourth ring of hell.

Nope- I asked for light ice, got a cup of ice. Asked for oat milk and watched as the barista put in regular milk. She made me a new one but if I hadn’t been watching, that mistake would have ruined my day.

Wonderful food and service! We were in the way through Taos and needed a quick break. The person who manages the store was so kind and welcoming, and really enjoyed the coffee and lunch burritos as well as muffins.

We wanted a coffee and snack to hold us over to dinner. Hubby got a drip coffee and bagel. I ordered a latte and a coffee cake. Hubby's bagel was barely warmed, not even lightly toasted and his coffee was a cup of over roasted drip. My latte was really strong, almost on the edge of a cappuccino and tasted a bit bitter. The coffee cake was a total disappointment, handed to me in all it's prepackaged individually wrapped form, straight out of a box with no plate. Wouldn't recommend this place, it's more like a coffee bar that you'd find in a gas station.

Got a Mexican mocha, which was simply fascinating. Such a weird concept, and it's a cute place too! Also, some reviewers seem pretty put off by the fact of a tiny independent coffee shop offering Starbucks coffee. I thought that was kinda cool--I didn't know that was really even a thing nowadays--but, yeah, they do serve Starbucks here, so if that's not your thing, don't be disappointed that you didn't read ALL the signs and then leave a bad review.

Good service, Starbucks coffee, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, scones and cookies. Outdoor sidewalk seating on Taos Plaza. Indoor seating. Conveniently colocated in Hotel Le Fonda De Taos.
