Parson Gallery of the West is by far the most thorough gallery’s in Taos of historical and contemporary art of the west. It is a must see and right across the street from the Taos plaza entrance on Kit Carson rd across hwy 68. I had not been there in a while and was very impressed with the entire presentation of art. Don’t miss it, folks!

A gallery for the serious collector. No amateur artists represented here. Helpful staff and nice atmosphere for viewing fine art.

Lovely art, but I won't ever be back, and that's from a local. The employee working was too busy on the phone to ever come speak to me, even though I had questions. She was on a phone call when I arrived. I walked by the office, and she saw me, so I figured it must be a gallery related call. Thinking that was the case, I toured every room slowly. Eventually I was finished looking, so, still having questions, I sat in the chair and read a magazine. I flipped from start to finish, and she was still on the phone, talking about handicap accessible vans, and dog training. Obviously I was incorrect about the call being work-related.There are other galleries (countless) that care enough to actually acknowledge you exist. You might want to try one of them.
