A rare find in Taos. Not to be missed if you are visiting local shops in the area. Stop in and say hello to the folks who own the shop, you're likely to find something unique and one of a kind here. Located in an alleyway, you might miss it if you're in a vehicle, so keep an eye out for the outdoor sign!

zero grace whatsoever...My husband and I are regulars in Taos and I am native to Santa Fe. We got married in Taos and go often to shop. We were so happy to find this shop open and complimented the elderly man behind the desk on having the best door in Taos. There were many books and dishes I was interested in as well as a ring. I have 3 decades in retail and gallery management and it was clear to me this man did not want us in the shop as he made zero effort to show us anything I was interested in. When I excitedly asked a question about the Navajo folk art chicken that was identical to the one I have from Davis Mather Gallery in Santa Fe he was very condescending to us and when we went to leave he said "jesus christ". My impression was that he hates women, but he was rude to my husband as well. We love Taos because people are so kind. This man should have a shop in Santa Fe where most of the self-important condescending shop owners reside nowadays. I had every intention of spending money in his shop and really loved the inventory. If he is the owner I will never set foot in there again. If he's not I hope to hear from them so I can return. There is a Georgia O' Keeffe book that may be the edition I have been looking for for decades where my dad is mentioned as he was the curator for the first and only O'Keeffe exhibit in Santa Fe while she was alive, at the Rotunda Gallery in the State Capitol building in 1975. My father has since passed and I would love to find the edition where he is credited. I'd encourage anyone who cares about people and how they are treated to avoid this shop.

My wife and I were very excited to visit this store, but our wind was taken from our sails as soon as we walked in the door. Nevermore.

This place is a must stop. it is full of authentic art, antiquities, and knick-knacks that will keep you occupied and browsing for hours. They also have an excellent selection of books. Robert was so generous with his time and explained his craft and all the items I inquired after. I loved my experience here and am going home with some wonderful souvenirs for loved ones and a book I can't wait to read. This is an absolute must.

Great shop for small antique and vintage items from the southwest and other locations. Lots of used books, too, many of which focus on the southwest. A fun place to browse and find unusual items.

Unprofessional customer service! The sales associate (some guy) who didn't even greet me when I walked in, had the audacity to accuse and assume that I had taken a picture of him, which I didn't! This was my 1st time in Taos and my first stop. I wish i never had set a foot in that shop.
