About Sands
Sands is a clean, comfortable, and humble vintage motel offering basic rooms with a fridge, microwave, small TV, and A/C-heat. The friendly and kind husband and wife hosts are extremely accommodating and provide outstanding customer service. While nothing fancy, it is a nice little gem and a great value. The rooms are warm and comfortable, even during a blizzard. Some notes mention the remote location with no restaurant within walking distance and no coffee provided in the room. The bathroom is clean with a nice overhead shower, though guests may occasionally encounter gnats. Overall, it is a pleasant and down home place for an overnight stay.

Friendly and kind husband/wife hosts. Clean basic room with a fridge, micro, small tv, and A/C-heat. Very accommodating - made me a pot of coffee in the morning and a glass of milk for my son (he brought his own cereal ?).We only ended up here due to a detour due to construction on I40, but so glad we did. Great value!

We had a great stay here. The room was nicer than expected and the staff was extremely friendly. We had stayed during a blizzard, and the room was actually very warm! The bathroom also had a nice overhead shower head, and we were extremely comfortable during our stay.
