I strongly advise against using Allied for any moving services. If you value your belongings, look elsewhere. This company demonstrates a complete disregard for customers’ property and trust. Their car transport drivers operate vehicles without authorization, and their household goods movers are careless, resulting in damaged items. To make matters worse, no one within the company takes responsibility for these failures. Their so-called “claims” department is equally negligent, offering no real accountability or resolution. Allied’s service is not only unprofessional but entirely unacceptable.

Allied made moving a BREEZE! Having never moved in this magnitude before, I was very nervous and uncertain about everything. They explained all things in great detail, answered all of my questions and provided flawless service. Communication was great leading up to the move. The movers themselves arrived promptly, personable and ready to work. I packed my own boxes so prior to move out date. Their knowledge of packing made my entire house look like specks inside the truck. That being said I did not move with any furniture besides a bunk bed, so cannot comment on that. I had just about 2000lbs of belongings (around ~50 boxes/totes/suitcases) and at drop off (different vendor) everything was accounted for and the process was smooth. Would definitely recommend Allied (Albany, NY area) and will definitely use the national service again!

We moved from New York to Texas and left the day before the move. The service was excellent in communication with our superintendent in NY and again with our son in Austin. Very responsive, organized and respectful of our property! Our son gave them an extra tip as he has moved many times and never seen such professional work. Thank you, Dennis and company.

We were on such short notice to move across the country. From beginning to end this was a smooth transition. Communication was wonderful. Everyone was polite and professional. The driver updated me on his journey and even arrived a day early! I would highly recommend this company to everyone! Very satisfied!

We moved 3000 miles cross country . This was our second long haul move. This time we used Allied. And I am so happy with the outcome. The move coordinators were wonderful. Always responsive . We had an excellent experience. The movers carefully packed our items and furniture. Our items arrived at our new home intact. Not one thing broken! . Even our flatscreen TV arrived intact. The movers unloaded our belongings and put our beds and other items together. They were efficient and really did a great job putting our beds together. They even assembled our bikes. The driver was fantastic. Despite the fact that he had a broken foot he delivered our belongings on time and quarterbacked the entire offload . I would highly recommend this company and specifically this driver- I think his name was Don.

My experience with Allied-Albany was superb. Kelly at Ideal Movers did an in-home estimation. Mariah coordinated the move. Valanta from Allied supervised and transported my belongings across country. The process was flawless. Communication at every step of the way was excellent. I would recommend Allied-Albany to anyone in the process of moving.

The furniture packaging is very good, fast loading and unloading, and the coordinated manager, driver, and loading and unloading personnel work diligently and responsibly. Everything is fine.

Nice guys but way too many broken items on a 500 mile move. Speed is not advised when moving and transporting. Overall very disappointed to have paid $9600 and have many items broken. Lastly, the movers managed to lose or misplace my 2 television remotes. I’d have been better off hiring the 3 stooges.
