This is a great store for art supplies, including canvas, paints, pencils, easels, and more. They also do framing. And there's a very nice selection of greeting cards, mugs, and vintage style puzzles. The staff are friendly and helpful.(They are also right next door to Cider Belly Doughnuts, in case you need a coffee or sweet treat.)

Really love shopping local for art supplies! Arlene's is a terrific, yet small, medium inclusive supply store. While size keeps the choices minimal, the knowledgeable staff will surely help you find just what you need. Also enjoy their selection of beautiful specialty papers and gift items. Always a treat to drop in and see what new treasures they've gotten in!

My son who has always loved art and is now in school for art, has gotten all his supplies from this store. They always have everything he needs and are always so friendly and helpful. By far our favorite art supply store!

Very welcoming staff. I needed help finding a particular item and a Young woman was very kind in getting me to the right aisle. Not only that, she also explained the differences between the materials I was looking at so I knew what to get. I'll go back for future art supplies guaranteed!

Real Nice Place!!! The lady there was very helpful with helping me choose some wooden charcoal pencils and sketch pads. They had a very wide selection of artist materials, papers, paints, pencils, pens...canvases, even greeting cards etc. And some things that you just don't find anywhere else!!! (Like a hardcover Charlie Harper coloring book!!! Charlie's one of my favorite artists!!!) It's worth the trip from anywhere. And so close for me too.

This store has been around for years and always has a great selection of products. My mom loves adult coloring books and comes here to stock up on assorted color pencils. They sell the pencils individually so she can selectively restock the ones she runs out of most. Apparently, green is the most frequently used color for all the grass in landscapes so she can buy individual ones here very reasonably instead of buying a whole new package of pencils. They also have a nice selection of gift items like small pouches, reusable bags, socks, cards and assorted small art themed things. The selection of easels is extensive and includes table easels and standing easels. Tons of canvas, paints and paint brushes. Prices are reasonable. I found the staff a little overbearing (they greeted me multiple times) when I entered the store but were friendly at checkout. Highly recommend.

Such high quality art supplies gifts, and the customer service is great, too! It's a wonderful place to buy gifts that are unusual and on the fun side.

Fair prices, wide selection of items you may not see at other shops. Friendly staff, and they also host a Maker's Market. A room for canvases, a room for papers and boards, they also have a frame shop in back.

Fantastic art supply store, has everything you need and then some! The workers really know the products, and give great advice. I've been able to find hard-to-get supplies from them. I'd much rather support a local business like this than risk getting cheap knock-offs by ordering supplies online.

Was pretty disappointed by my latest visit here. Came in with a couple of signed posters from our favorite band and wanted to get them framed. We really didn't want to go to a big box store and went out of our way to (try to) support a local business. The woman who helped us wasnt very interested in doing so. We made it clear we were willing to spend more in order to both preserve and display the posters, but she wouldn't even quote us for a custom frame or make other suggestions. Instead she pointed us to a stack of boring do-it-yourself frames, and they didn't even have the right size in stock. When we went back to the counter to ask if it was something they might get in soon, we couldn't find her.Arlene's is probably the best selection of art supplies you can find locally, but I can't say I'd recommend them for framing.
