Name’s Russ George. Been a homeowner a long time. Seen my fair share of contractors and inspectors—some good, some not so much. Bald Eagle Inspection Services? Solid folks. Some of the best I’ve dealt with, period.
I had concerns about a musty smell in the basement and some water damage in the back room. I’ve got grandkids over all the time, and I wasn’t about to let mold be an issue. Called Bald Eagle after a neighbor recommended them, and I’m glad I did.
They showed up when they said they would, got right to work, no fluff. The guy was sharp—knew what to look for, explained things clearly, and didn’t try to upsell me on stuff I didn’t need. Found a hidden leak that had been seeping behind a wall for who knows how long. If that had gone unnoticed, it would’ve cost me a fortune down the line.
Bottom line: these guys are thorough, honest, and professional. You don’t always get that combo these days. If you’re on the fence—don’t be. Bald Eagle’s the real deal.

Okay—let me just say… WOW. As a mom of three young kids, our home is everything. It’s where we eat, sleep, play, and live our lives. They explained everything in a way I could actually understand and gave us clear next steps. No scare tactics, no nonsense—just facts and solutions.
Because of them, I feel like I can breathe again—literally and emotionally. I’m getting the work done to keep my kids safe and healthy, and I finally feel in control of my home again.

I contacted Bald Eagle Inspection Services due to a need for a mold inspection in my home. I was very impressed with the report that was provided and Jason who did the inspection. Jason is highly qualified, professional, conscientious, trustworthy and personable. He explained the issues surrounding mold and thermal ghosting in my home factually and clearly, in detail and in language that I could understand. He was patient in answering all of my questions. His report of the inspection was extremely detailed and thorough regarding all of the areas which were assessed. This included air quality testing, causes of the mold and thermal ghosting and recommendations for remediation and treatment. I highly recommend Bald Eagle Inspection Services.

While navigating the process of buying a new home I found Jason to be our inspector based off of all of the exceptional reviews he has. Now that the process is finally over I can say that Jason absolutely did provide exceptional and excellent service. Jason was extremely professional and was even able to write me an additional form…even while he was set to go on vacation. He was very thorough in his inspection report and ensured that we knew all of the relevant details regarding what he found. If you are needing an inspection done in Albany area know that Jason will do the job as it should be done. A true professional and grateful that we went with him to inspect our beautiful new home. I'm in the process of buying a new house, and I hired Jason (based upon a referral) to do air quality tests, including mold, VOCs, and formaldehyde, along with testing the popcorn ceilings for asbestos. He was prompt, professional, always available to answer questions, and provided all the reports in a professional and timely manner. I would definitely recommend Jason/Bald Eagle Inspection Services.

I’m in the process of selling my home and Jason was an integral part of the process. He was able to identify mold contaminated areas in my basement and then draft a comprehensive plan help remediate it. The plan was successful and I’m able to find a buyer for my home soon after. I highly recommend his services!

Jason provides a thorough inspection and is very good at explaining the different things that will need to be done in your home to ensure its longevity. Jason was very professional and was extremely responsive when I reached out to inquire about his services. When on site he displayed a vast knowledge of home assessing and provided guidance of where our mold issues were stemming from. Jason further described procedures on how abate the mold that was present in our home in a detailed report which was provided to us shortly after the inspection. The report also provided background information regarding mold in general. Also he provided references to NYS State Laws and requirements for a future hired Mode Abatement Contractor needed to follow. I highly recommend his services and will use Bald Eagle Inspection Services in the future if other home inspections are needed.
