This is my number one choice when staying overnight in Albany for work. I am so happy I found them. The rooms are clean and the front desk people are so nice. Most importantly its a great price!! For just one person looking for somewhere safe and clean to sleep its great. Bed is comfortable. I have never had any reason to not stay here again!! Highly reccomend!I am confused by the negative reviews especially the ones that mention the quality of breakfast. For the price i am shocked they even offer anything and they do it becuase it is NICE. I have stayed at other similiarly priced hotels in the area that actually were sketchy and dirty. This place is great. When you are paying half the price maybe people should try being more grateful that they even offer a hotel of this quality in their budget instead of just complaining about it. You can tell the people who own it are trying to give you a comfortable stay and I appreciate it. Rant over. Thank you guys for many, many clean and bugdet friendly stays!!!!

Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable stay. Beds are amazing. Suggest reserving via a travel site as the prices there were significantly lower than at the desk.

Low price, clean, excellent value - an incredible step up from the higher priced mistakes that were Albany Ramada and Motel 6, both on Watervliet Ext.So glad we found this Days Inn.

What not to expect a 2 star hotel. Very basic. The window sill was moldy. Basic bread fast, all carb. The manager if you can get a hold of him is rude. Other than the location, not much else can brag about. Better off paying a few bucks more and getting from Hampton just a few feet down.

Do NOT book this hotel under any circumstances. It is the most vile and horrid place I have ever stayed in. The entire hotel is covered in mold, the rooms are absolutely disgusting, and the staff is very unhelpful. I booked a five day stay here, and immediately checked out within an hour of being in my room because the air conditioner was broken and the room was 80°. Additionally, the room and hallway were covered in mold. The room was dirty with spiders, dead cockroaches, trash and dirt, stains all over the bed, and what appeared to be dried blood underneath the mattress. When I brought up my concerns of the room being uninhabitable to the front desk, I was given a broken and extremely dirty box fan because nobody was available to fix the air, and I was told that "it is better than nothing". After that, I immediately checked out, was hit with dirty looks and it appears that I offended the lady at the front desk when I criticized the cleanliness of the hotel, and booked a much nicer hotel near the Albany airport. I will be contacting the health department and potentially the Better Business Bureau to further investigate this hotel because I believe this location does not deserve business anymore.Rooms: Absolutely disgusting.Safety: People walking around and sitting outside the hotel at midnight.Noteworthy details: Cockroaches, mold, spiders, dried blood, stains.

This was about the worst place I've ever stayed in my life and I've been all over the USA. I had an ant infestation at 3 different times. My first night they were crawling underfoot as I was on my computer. The next AM, I looked in my luggage and they were all over my clothes. I insisted that my things be washed, but had to demand it several times before the person agreed. Later that day, ants were back. I had to ask for Windex and guy didn't even know what it was until I explained. He did spray it all around the room. My room looked out on an alley filled with bags of garbage and the drapes didn't close all the way. They stocked one tiny shampoo container and 2 mini bars of soap. When I went to bed, I noticed stains on the sheets and pillow cases. It was disgusting. On my second day, the manager banged on my door at 10 AM yelling that I had to check out (ck out was at 11). I asked for a discount due to the ant problem and he went ballistic. I asked the desk clerk to call me a taxi, then waited outside over an hour, but it never came. (I don't think she called anyone!!!!!) I came in and asked her to call another, but she refused, screaming, "I've made enough calls for you!" I told her she needed a hotel management class ASAP to develop friendliness and courtesy skills. Many of the staff don't speak a word of English. AVOID THIS PLACE NO MATTER HOW CHEAP. IT REALLY DESERVES ZERO STARS.

I have no complaints about my stay. We were on the last leg of a road trip and wanted somewhere to crash for a few nights. The room was nice. The hotel is closecto restaurants.

I was here a couple times due to work. I think this is the cheapest place I saw around the area. For this price there is nothing fancy or nice looking but at least it’s decently clean and managed, so I’d say it’s great for the value. There is microwave and fridge in the room. One desk and chair but no couch for a single room. Breakfast include coffee, juice, and some pastries. No hot foods. Staffs are nice and friendly.

Unexpectedly cool evening weather lead to room being cold. Heat does not work. Bed has only a sheet and a VERY thin blanket. At midnight I couldn't take it any more, got up and went to the front desk to ask for a blanket. Was told "we don't have any". Am now trying to sleep under two bath towels.

Ok so this hotel looks not so great from the outside, especially at 1:30 in the morning on a random Thursday. Painted cinder block style, a sketchy feeling parking lot, minimal florescent outdoor lighting, hotel hallway that has windows onto the narrow, weed filled "alley " between the 2 buildings. But don't let all that fool you or keep you from staying here! Our room was clean (we tore apart our beds to check for bedbugs, and the beds were spotless) our shower was hot and strong, and the beds were very, very comfortable with good pillows (they were on wheels on a non-carpeted floor, which was funny). There's a big (for a hotel) refrigerator, a microwave, and a good sized desk. To get into our hallway from the parking lot was a swipe with our door key, so that felt safer. And the people at the front desk, both at check in and check out the next morning were so nice and helpful, they were lovely. So I know it isn't much to look at, and the breakfast was a bit lackluster, but the rooms were nice, and in the end, it was a very comfortable place to sleep and it was welcome after a hard start to a trip! I'm grateful to have found it!Walkability: It's near everything!

Beds moved a lot. They might be made that way to help clean around them faster but they move a lot which was very weird. Breakfast was 1 Toaster for the only food item....toasted products! (Bagels, bread etc) Service was good. Parking was good. Toilet flushed. 2.5/5

This is budge hotel adjust your expectations to it. I had a pleasant experience, the staff made a real effort to make the guests feel welcome and that has to be recognized. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very simple but sufficient. I will return.

DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL. This place is disgusting! I asked for a non smoking room while reserving it, but I entered into a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Furthermore, the conditions of the hotel are terrible; the doors of the hotel are old, some of the locks are broken/taken off, there were multiple burn holes in my bedsheets. Also, they advertised that there would be two bathrooms for a room with two beds. There were not two bathrooms like they said on the website; the manager told me that all rooms have one bathroom, which is very ridiculous to false advertise for two bathrooms. As well, the bathroom is very small and also in horrible condition. The vent cover was off and exposed the vent that was full of dust. The ceilings also had mold growing on it. I don’t even know why this hotel is in business. The only good thing about this hotel is the service and the location is not far from the UAlbany campus. However, SHUT IT DOWN!!Noteworthy details: TERRIBLE CONDITIONS, NOT ENOUGH SAFTEY FOR RESIDENTS

The Staff are THE FRIENDLIEST, and so welcoming. Early check-in is available with a small fee, and they offer light breakfast with bagels, toast, muffins, some juice and coffee (some days they have 2 options for the breads/bagels), but if you're looking for more, there's some great spots on Western Ave, and its a quick drive to grocery stores if you're looking to avoid spending too much on takeout. The rooms have a decent sized mini fridge to store snacks and microwave meals. I meal prepped and bought some pre-cooked stuff and it fit decently in there.I guess one thing is that the bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner,FOR PETS, they only allow them if they are service animals. The beds are really comfy. I am here for a little bit while I prep for my new apartment (move in dates for student apartments are weird), and they were so kind and open to having conversations, they clean up the rooms quickly! manager also is friendly advocates for his staff. There was a customer disrespecting all the staff and they got kicked out... soo if you mess around, you find out! welcoming environment overall.
