Placed an order to be picked up curbside. A box of diapers, a box of wipes, two packages of body wash. Arrived within the pickup window after receiving notification that our order was ready to be picked up. Followed instructions in app, watched as pickup brought out other orders, after 20 minutes I went inside, took another 5 minutes to be acknowledged, and then another 5 minutes to receive my order. Walked it back out to my car after the half hour ordeal, and there are multiple cars getting curbside deliveries that showed up in the ten minutes I went inside. What is the point of curbside pickup if I could go in and shop my order 2-3 times over in the amount of time it took for BJ’s to deliver my order to me?

Always had hard time from old lady at the register.Now going through tax exempt process got worse.Took 3 visits.Dint tell me all the requirements in first 2 visits.

Regularly have issues with customer service at this location. Going to use walmart, and wait for Costco to come to Albany for bulk items. Not getting another membership

Albany BJ’s wholesale is now just as bad as Rotterdam NY. Was at the deli which was very busy and crowded. No problem we waited. They were at # 23 when I got my # which was #30. As we all wait the man that cleans the floors on the machine cames squeezing through everyone. So I said this is nuts. He was even moving peoples cart with the machine. So he gets through everyone leaves the floor wet and a pile of trash from the machine on the floor. Comes walking from back telling me I’m talking crazy. And then the man next to me said something to him and he told him to mind his business he wasn’t talking to him. When I was done at deli I got the rest of my stuff and as I did he was watching going through the store. When I got to the front I asked to speak to a manger waited by the Christmas stuff for no manager to come talk to me as your employee is still watching what I was doing. Sad that NOT one manager could assist a customer. 2. I’ve been calling to speak to a manager for over 2 hours get hung up on or left on hold for the call to disconnect. So my last attempt was to put a review on here. I also have a picture of the floor as he left it. Hope nobody slips and floors because your employee careless acts. Let’s see if they have any respect for there customers and I get a call back

Tire service is terrible due to understaffing. Website appointment system is wrong and it took 3 weeks to get an appointment. Understaffed and the front desk worker spent all the time talking to the tire tech or doing something else. Propane sales delayed tire installation. 1.5 hours to install tires and no one there before me.

Lines are terrible, so I stopped going a couple of years ago. Once they started delivery service, I hopped back on board. The deliveries go fine it’s through DoorDash which is moderately sketchy. The main problem I have is that they keep delivering me milk that is about to expire. I’ve had to dump out 4 gallons of milk in the last two deliveries. The prices on other items are so significantly discounted that it’s still worth it but once Costco is built, may be time for a change.

These workers do not care about their customers yesterday this girl was on a scooter and she seemed to be in a rush to leave and she asked the lady who checks receipts if she can hurry up politely and explained that she went through the line not self checkout and the lady screamed at her

My husband and I swapped from Sam’s to BJ’s and I can say I love BJ’s more. I LOVE the customer service here! Never had a problem. People in bakery are nice. Also my sister and I was checking out in self check out, my son is a very cranky baby and was crying. Erica walked over and started talking to him to calm him down till we finished. Helped me so much!

I usually go there once a month or two. Since I am single, there isn't really a good reason for me to buy bulk items, unless it's something I really like a lot. For some reason, their Puffs plus tissues feel a bit dry??? And they have Gold Peak Iced Tea in three flavors...except the Green Tea. Why?!?! (Is it possibly because they have Lipton Green Tea??? Who knows!!!)

I won't go here again, nothing but a headache. After waiting in a huge line to get gas before 11AM during the week, people were cutting in line & the gas attendant did nothing. When I finally got to a pump, it kept stopping & spewed gas out at me. When I told the gas attendant that it wasn't working, I was told that either my tank was full(I needed 3/4 of a tank) or there was an air bubble in my gas tank. Never happened before! I went elsewhere & had no issues! It's not worth saving under $1 for the frustration. The store is just as bad, the last time I went there were no carts, so I had to carry my items. I had to wait in a huge line holding my items just to show my receipt that I paid.

I had a somewhat complicated membership issue and Michelle at customer service handled it professionally, kindly and very efficiently. She gave me her time to be sure I understood how to use the card to my best advantage. I applaud her as a great asset to BJ’s. Thank you Michelle!

Don’t come here for tires. Terrible service. ALL excuses. So unprofessional. Never called to tell me that the tires I ordered were discontinued. Was told they didn’t have time because they are learning new procedures or some excuse. Go elsewhere. The gentleman installing tires told me to just cancel the order. So I went inside. Spoke to a manager told me to call back the next day they would make things right. I called back the next day. Spoke to Jose and the price for the new tires was even more than what I was going to pay originally. Also the gentleman on the phone told me that the 80,000 mile tire warranty never happens that way it’s usually less than 50,000 miles wear. I have been a long-standing BJ’s customer and this is not a way to retain customers. You lost a good customer.

This afternoon I went to BJ's Optical Department & had the pleasure of meeting Monica & Tina - they were both great to work with! They both went an extra mile to meet all of my optical needs. I purchased new Aviator frames with the very best in progressive lens. Also, met with Onack who assisted me with great success & Ericka who assisted me in check out. The final person I met was Miss Bev who was so pleased & greeted me with a wonderful warm smile & thanked me for shopping at BJ's in the Albany store location. Overall it was a most positive shopping experience & I left a very happy & satisfied customer! I'm looking forward to my next visit to BJ's very soon!

Can't beat the benefit of buying in bulk. Lots of coupons active all the time to add to the discounts so use the app as much as you can. Best part for me is checking out using the app and just showing my receipt code to the staff on the way out. Can't beat it.
