I reserved a Camry or large sedan. When I got to pick up location all they had was a jeep gladiator. Completely different vehicle. Not happy about having to take that vehicle cross country. As well as additional fuel charges.Completely unprofessional

The entrance to the location at the Colonie Center is hella hard to find and Google maps didn't help -drive around to the back of the mall, to the left of the Christmas Shop is an entrance and it's the first thing you see when you walk in. Other than that, the staff was very nice and we got upgraded for free cause they were short on cars.

We rented a car and after arriving at the airport baggage claim we find we will be in line for 90-120 minutes. It has been 15 minutes and we have not moved in a 30 person line. Suggestion would be to try another company that knows how to staff a line. If they knew that they had this many renters why not get another person or two to move things along?For the record this wasn't my choice to rent here but I'm paying the price for a friend's decision

The check in and out wait time was really quick and easy. Staff were friendly. I made my reservation over the phone and that was quick too, I was able to prepay on my credit card. The car they had for me was super comfortable too. Also. The price point was not too expensive.

The rudest woman was working at this location. Blonde hair older woman with glasses. She was awful and obviously enjoyed her bizarre behavior. Other people we didnt know were quick to comment how bad she was treating us. We went to another location and rented from enterprise without a problem. Yet we had to pay 450 dollars to take a taxi to our destination before we could rent the car.

Oh this Albany Colonie Mall location is everything. I had a pleasant experience with Mohammed and the quality of the vehicles are better and well priced. This is my 5th rental in the last 30 days. I’ve rented with Hertz, Enterprise & now Budget and by far Budger’s experience is far better. Thank you so much for working with me on securing a vehicle that I am now looking to purchase. I’m picking it up again tomorrow. Thanks guys. :)

Mohammed was extremely helpful, I went in a day early to get the vehicle I rented. I made a mistake in reserving the vehicle. Mohammed made some changes and had me on my way without lengthy delays. Mohammed exemplifies the art of customer service. The customer service I received at Budget located in Colonie Center Mall was outstanding. I wish to thank Mohammed personally. I will recommend this Budget location and Mohammed to friends and family. Tom and Ani Mooney.

It was horrible dealing with the racism at the colonie center. I will never go back there to rent from budget again as long as he is there he was Ryde uncaring.and they were very Unprofessional they didn't do a walk around with me. After the 30% discount from AARP they wanted almost $1000 for a 1 day and 8 hours rental, not even 2 whole days!, from Albany to Florida. Enterprise charged me less than $500 including extra insurance. Outrageous!!!!!!

It was a horrible experience. The only staff person didn't answer the phone when we called. When we arrived, we could hear the phone ringing constantly. The worker said he didn't answer phones beause "that is extra work."

We returned car rented in Buffalo to Albany International Airport. I notified Budget from the terminal as we were boarding that I had left my prescription sun glasses in the recently returned rental, They said they would send the glasses to my home in Phoenix. Never got them back. I have disputed the $118.06 bill and $225.00 cost of replacing the glasses with VISA. There customer service is offshore and has been a nightmare to deal with resulting in numerous phone calls and emails to no avail. Albany will not answer their phone nor can a customer email Albany. I have been told three times by the offshore customer service Albany does not participate in the lost and found. This has cost me endless amounts of time and expense. I will no longer rent from Budget or Avis... their parent... from now on.William H

If I could rate -5 stars I would. DO NOT rent from this company! Save yourself the trouble!Called and made a reservation, paid on the phone, no problem… Upon my arrival I was told that if you pay with a debit card, they have to do a credit check before they can give you the vehicle. (I was not told this on the phone). They do the credit check and because my score wasn’t 800 they refused to give me the vehicle THAT THEY ALREADY TOOK THE TOTAL AMOUNT OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT FOR. (Over $500) I was then hung up on by their customer service phone representatives while trying to explain and ask for refund, the guy in the store was extremely rude, no help at all and told me I couldn’t have my money back for up to 10 business days. This company WILL take your money and refuse to give you something you paid for and withhold the money!Sorry for a long review, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental business.

I'm a rewards member at a competing company but they did not have any cars available when I needed one. Budget had vehicles at a convenient location and the car I received was much nicer than expected.
