I had a checking account at Capital Bank which was not a primary account. I more or less used it to pay taxes. I did not go into the Clifton Park branch or have any transactions during a year of Covid. The bank began taking out service charges because my account was inactive. They did not send me any correspondence to tell me they were doing so. After complaining at the branch, I was refunded half of the charges. I called the main branch and was told that she understood and would have the branch manager call me...she never did. It was not a lot of money but it was a terrible way to treat a customer!! Account closed. They will never have any of my business!
