Once you buy a car the service is non existent. Barely answer the phone with a live person and once they do can’t get an actual service person to answer a question. Argumentative on the phone. First and last Range Rover purchase for me.

Raul was kind, helpful and responsive. The entire staff worked together to get me into a car within 48 hours. The service was as reliable as a Volvo!

New name, but same service. I left voicemails (because no one in the service department ever answers the phone) for two days to make a service appointment that were never returned. This is the second time I have had this experience (the last time I managed to reach someone on day three). I attempted to reach the manager for all service departments for the McGovern Group after day two of my current odyssey, but was errantly placed in the voicemail for the service manager of a Jeep Chrysler dealership in Massachusetts. Nevertheless, this manager immediately returned my call, called the dealership in Albany, and called me back twice to make sure that I had gotten an appointment. I cannot stress enough how impressed I was by a person that I did not buy a car from (I have purchased three from the Albany group) and probably never will, who took his job so seriously and went so out of his way to help me. Unlike the staff at McGovern Luxury Cars Albany, who are sarcastic, rude, dismissive, and treat every customer like they are disposable, as they are the only Land Rover dealership for miles. I am just waiting for another Land Rover (or I guess JLR) dealership to open in this area so I can stop the sadomasochistic/dependent relationship I have with this one.

I have been buying cars....new and old...for many years from many dealers. All cars have their problems, I have always treated people how I would want to be treated. I find the staff very accomodating and reasonable. Chris the service manager, Patrick the advisor and John Sanders have been more than nice and fix the issues quickly. Yes...the loaner program is lacking due to not enough available but if you are patient they will get you one. I have been with them for almost 5 years and wouldn't hesitate to buy again from them.

Had a great experience with them!! I only bought a little old jeep from them but they still treated me as if I was buying a $100,000 vehicle from them. Very nice and they did all the work for me. Highly recommend :)

Last week my wife was driving a five hour trip in her 2006 XK8 and experienced what turned out to be a broken belt on a front tire. The result was a major wheel shim at higher speeds. She was about 11 miles from Capital Luxury Cars and called for advice. Chris Collins the service manager listened to the descriptive and told her it was okay to drive to the dealership at a slower pace. She did so successfully. While it was 2:30 on a busy afternoon, Chris test drove the car and affirmed she was safe to continue on with the remaining 3 hours of her trip. There was no charge for this and we all felt comfortable with his diagnosis. Many thanks Chris!!

I found the car I wanted online from Capital Luxury Cars.I live in Maine and the people I spoke with at This dealer "Julie & Jack" were very helpful and made my purchasing experience a breeze. I flew to New York and Julie met me at the Albany location. Julie was Super nice and Very hospitable while I waited for them to detail my car. She was so pleasant and asked me if I was hungry or thirsty? She really made me feel like a friend she's known for years. I would and will Recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Beautiful Car and an easy comfortable purchase process..... Than You Julie! ? ? ?

In looking at reviews this dealership is plummeting at an alarming rate. I did not purchase my car from this dealership however it is the closest Land Rover dealership to me so I had them provide a recall service to me on a selenoid. While the service manager I spoke with (Chris) was always pleasant and tried to make right, the experience is short of a nightmare. After the recall service my car was "hand washed" as a courtesy. Upon return my car was scratched beyond belief. THE ENTIRE CAR. Right down to the rims. It was as though a thick bristled brushed had gone over the entire thing. I promptly called and complained as was asked to send it back over for them to see in person. When they saw it in person they agreed that it looked terrible and advised they would send my car to a local ?body shop? and have it buffed out from from to back. Days later Chris called to tell me my car looked beautiful and was being delivered back to me. The flatbed hadn't even left the yard and I was taking photos and texting them to Chris as the "Buff" job made the car even worse. This buffer clearly got away from the operator several times and there are large swipe marks all over the car. It was at this point that I got completely ghosted by the dealership and have since had to file an insurance claim. The appraiser came out today to review the damage and advised that all of the plastic on my car needs to be replaced as the scratches cannot be fixed. Rims will need to be sand blasted and re-painted and the car will require PROFESSIONAL buffing front to back.

WARNING: DO NOT USE CAPITAL LUXURY CARS OF 347 NEW KARNER ROAD ALBANY,NY! I actually read the bad reviews on this dealership,went against my better judgement and used them anyway. I bought a used 2017 Toyota Sienna off their Volvo lot. The car was immaculate inside and out and this was confirmed by a independent shop I brought it to before I purchased it. The day I picked up the van, it was dark outside and they had the van parked in a very odd spot tucked up close to the dealership building, ( at the time I didn't think much of the odd positioning of the van.) Got the van home that night. The next morning I go outside to look at the van and found hundreds of scratches all of the driver side. Apparently when they detailed the car, ( before I picked it up ),they scratched it up. This explains why the driver side of the van was parked so snug against the wall of the dealership, they were trying to hide the damage. Make a long story short, I took the van back the very next morning and they apologized for damage and said, it would all be fixed. They had my car for over a week and when I went back to pick it up, ( not only was the original damage not repaired correctly,) there were new scratches on the passenger side, as well as the driverside and all around the car. I had the service manager Eric Rosen come out to look at the scratches and he said, I will not repaint the car just too expensive but they would send the car back out to their shop called "Best Body" of Latham/Cohoes area. I asked Mr. Rosen, "what is the address of this shop and who worked on my car?" Mr. Rosen stated; " I do not have to give you that information." I asked him several more times and he would not tell me the address of where my car was repaired. At one point, Mr. Rosen tried to back track and say, " actually the car was not sent out it was repaired here at Volvo." Also, I dropped my car off at Volvo with 57466 miles and when I picked it up, it had 57486, so they put 20 miles on my car. My question now is, if the car never left Volvo for repair, why is there 20 miles added onto my mileage? Mr. Rosen and the rest of the shady staff I dealt with at Capital Luxury Cars, could not answer those questions.Shady dealer ship. Shame on Capital Luxury Cars. Going to make sure everyone knows about this horrible dealership, ( i.e local news, AG, BBB, and many many more!!!

I Purchased a 2017 Land Rover Discovery in November a TD6 Diesel and i Couldn't be Happier,,,A Side from the Minor Problems ive had Not only does the Vehicle Run Fantastic but im Writing Because the ENTIRE STAFF From Andy to Steve to Chris to Rich in the Service Dept they have treated me Above and Beyond im so impressed with this operation that i look forward to purchasing a New Discovery in a Few Years,,Do Yourself a Favor and Purchase from Capital Luxury Motors!! They are Simply the Best!!
