I love Cardonas. I always stop in when I'm near albany or latham locations. They have great meatballs and pene ala vodka. Their desserts and salads are wonderful as well. I love the fresh bakery loaf of bread.
This place is a staple! You can't go wrong!

Love Cardona’s! It’s great to have many options of foods, and allows my family to get different foods from the same place. Their hot bar never disappoints, and their desserts are divine. The staff is always friendly as well.

On 3 occasions my husband and I ordered subs from Cardona's on Delaware Ave in Albany, NY & all 3 occasions they were WRONG, even though the other was written down and given to the sub maker. My husband calls to speak to a manager & she was extremely rude stating they are super busy and so what he made a mistake! How dare she! We spend alit of money at that store and to be treated like that is unacceptable. I know few businesses that cater from Cardona's, my job being one of them and I will be sure to let them know about the treatment we received today. She didn't even apologize or offer to correct the situation she just said they are super busy and so what he made a mistake! Is that how Cardinal does business now, too busy to give your customers what they order and pay for? Your so-called manager needs to be trained in proper customer service.

Only "meats" they have are prepared processed meals like chicken parm and meatballs. I don't know why this even came up as a butcher.

Stopped and grabbed a large Cardona’s Club today and it was one of the best sandwiches ive ever had! And I could only eat half, well worth $14

ALBANY LOCATION: I cannot thank Cardona’s enough for their incredible kindness and efficiency. I had mistakenly placed a large food order for the wrong day for a family bereavement, and when my friend, Krina, arrived to pick it up, it wasn’t ready (understandably). Without hesitation, the staff was so gracious and understanding—within just 15 minutes, they put together the entire order. Their compassion and outstanding service in such a difficult time meant the world to me. I am forever grateful and will always recommend Cardona’s for their excellent food and even better people!

Qualify has gone way down. For a while they didn't have cheese... Often they are out of things. Gave it another shot today to get cold cuts and we were directed to stand in a line at the end of the counter. After 20 minutes of not getting served, someone came over to the line and said "oh the slicer is on her lunch break ... You'll have to come back in half an hour." This used to be a great spot but service doesn't seem to be what it once was. There are other small businesses I'd rather support.
