Easily one of the worst pharmacies ever. Staff is consistently bothered by customers, lose RXs in their bins, and suddenly close for lunch with a line of people. Oh and they no longer take patient calls directly because THEIR time is valuable - and instead return at their convenience - so hit "1" as a doctor (whose time apparently matters) and you'll get the snotty pharmacist.

I was ripped off at the CVS in Stuyvesant Plaza. I am a member of CVS Extra Care and I am a member of CVS Care Pass of which I pay a fee to be a member of. As such I am entitled to 20% off CVS brand products as well as having a $10 credit issued monthly to use on my CVS purchases. I purchased 2 packs of CVS brand COVID tests that were $16.99 per pack. When I went to the front to pay for the COVID test packs the attendant at the front told me that I cannot use my extra care or care pass benefits towards the purchase of COVID tests; therefore, I paid the full price of $16.99 per pack and was not allowed to apply my earned discounts for the purchase of the 2 packs of COVID tests. I wasn't feeling well. I was feeling sick and tired or else I would have gone to Hannaford Pharmacy where the price is $7 per COVID test. I will avoid using CVS and I will discontinue my Care Pass membership.

Worst pharmacy I've had to deal with. Prescription called in on Monday. Checked several times during the week and was told it would be filled on Friday. Which by the way was my last pill. Only to be told on Friday at 2:30 that it didn't come in and they have been having trouble getting it because there is a nation wide shortage. Another store has some but my doctor will have to send a new script. Or if my doctor can send an alternative drug I can take. Who in there right mind thinks anyone can get ahold of there doctor at 2:30 pm on a Friday. Time to switch pharmacy. Someone should have called me on Monday and expressed this concern instead of waiting until Friday. Worst customer service I've ever seen.

CVS @ 1170 western ave. Excellent service. pharmacy workers are very nice n kind. They got app to request for refill and auto refill for every month. U can transfer medication from non cvs pharmacy in the app. Very helpful app.

I phone pharmacy at 11AM. A live person says my prescription will be ready by 1:30PM. I show up at 4:30PM Friday and I'm told: not here yet, come back MONDAY. I read them the riot act, and they miraculously are able to fill it in 15 minutes. Sheer incompetence; no excuse.

Although I live in the general area of this CVS location I have not been into this particular store previously. Today I went there as the designated location for my second Covid booster shot. They took me right on time for my appointment. The general pharmacy staff was friendly. However, of special note, the pharmacist was super friendly and efficient. Although I was already familiar with the potential side effects (since this was my forth Covid related shot) the pharmacist took extra time to explain things and was extremely attentive despite the pharmacy being extremely busy. Overall I was very impressed with the interaction today and I highly recommend this pharmacy.

Very rude staff member at the tills/ front door area. Not helpful, really bad attitude and doesn’t care. Need to do better.
