Yesterday, Saturday, 03/08/25 my husband and I were hurt in a car crash. We went to Enterprise to rent a car. They gave us a beat-up very unsafe dirty Nissan Kicks. We wanted a safer car they said they don't have it so it was a matter of take it or leave it. We were not sure our car is safe to drive so we took it. Unfortunately every one is just taking our money treating us wrong and getting away with it. We like to give them no stars at all. It's about time businesses start to treat me and my husband RIGHT. STOP the Bullying.

In the past, I have been satisfied. I have rented
from enterprise many times in the past, both through my employment and personally as recently as last May. However I feel this time around things have changed. Latest visit was disappointing. Even though I was renting through my insurance agency due to an accident, the discussion started off with offering to upgrade me to pay more money. The vehicle offered to me was not a safe vehicle, and the driving quality was subpar. Customer service and even the fleet of vehicles need to be reevaluated.

The reason I am giving them 1-star is that I cannot give them 0. The most horrible experience you can imagine. You have to wait for a long time while the staff walking around and talk to friends (they are serving other customers, just doing nothing). The cars are also terrible. I rented a car and it was really bad. Called an got another one. When the snow started a few days later, that was the worst car in the road. It was barely moving with very old tires.

An absolutely terrible branch location. I tried calling them for almost 2 full hours this Sunday, 1/26, between the hours of 10 and 12pm. I called this branch a total of 21 times during that time period. NOT ONCE did a single person at his branch answer the phone. Guess they either decided to close earlier than their advertised business hours, or the employees just had better things to do then assist customers. Either way I couldn’t afford to waste a trip out there. Disgusting

Enterprise really let me down. I brought a debit card with plenty of availability on it, and documentation confirming my address (utility bills, rent bills, etc). Despite its stated policies, Enterprise at both Albany Airport and 900 Central Avenue in Albany did not take this form of payment, despite my being a 4-year preferred customer and caused me huge inconvenience and considerable cost. I'm truly disappointed.

(Edited post - Enterprise was awesome in assisting me in getting home to pick up a document I needed. Droping the vehicle off after-hours is VERY convenient) (Original post - Make sure you clarify how different methods of payment will affect what vehicles you can rent, and do this early. DEBIT vs. CREDIT makes a BIG difference. Also, clarify what documentation you will need. Otherwise, they are pretty cordial and professional)

Please avoid this Car Rental Place!!! It will ruin your trip. This was the worst rental experience I had thus far! Made the reservation for a premium suv and had confirmed it with my credit card. I go to pick up the suv and am told by the front staff that there’s no SUV’s available and they had a minivan. Very unprofessional staffs came out and said we tried to call me the day before but I never received any calls. I told them why wasn’t any voicemails left and they acted like they didn’t know anything.

Yo, so I rented a car from Enterprise in May 2024 for my vacay from Albany to JFK. I returned the car at JFK when I left the US, ( Paid full rental, toll fee and charges for returning at different location) but guess what? They charged extra $100 miscellaneous charge without even telling me what it was for. I tried to complain to their customer service, but I had to wait forever on the phone and the agent never even got back to me. It's like they're trying to rip off foreign travelers with these hidden charges and terrible service. Don't make the same mistake I did, fam. Stay away from Enterprise if you don't want to get scammed.

Great car, professional customer service, they had the car ready, and easy to deal with. Only thing is the tire PSI was at 48 for some reason which I brought to their attention. Otherwise, all was great!

I've had great experiences renting from this Enterprise location several times before, but today was a bit challenging. I reserved a car three days in advance and requested a home pick-up. Unfortunately, there were no cars available when I arrived, and the pick-up was a bit late. The staff was very friendly and tried to find a solution by calling other locations, but there were no cars available. I had taken a day off work for an important doctor's appointment, which I missed.
I understand that overbooking can happen, and I appreciate the staff's friendliness, but it was disappointing to be picked up without a car ready. Hopefully, this was just an isolated incident, and things will go smoothly next time.

Terrible location. I had a reservation for 3 weeks and I get to my scheduled date and time and they told me I have to wait for hours for a car. I was late for a work meeting in which I needed the car for. The guy who was “ helping “ me was extremely rude as were the other two guys who were there at the time. I always have an issue here. The cars always smell like cigarettes or have problems. This location is TERRIBLE!!!
