The experience is one to remember!! We had so much fun and our instructor was freaking awesome! Very knowledgeable and makes learning the activities a fun experience. All of the staff are friendly and accommodating. I would recommend for a nice date night or fun night out with friends. Book online or walk in but just know you will have a smile on your face and have made new friends! Have fun! ?

Staff are very friendly and welcoming and was able to adjust my price since I didn’t have a second person with me. My trainer was Carrie(apologies if I spelled your name wrong or it’s incorrect) she was great and taught me the fundamentals of how to throw the knives, shurikens, and axes and tomahawk. Would definitely visit again. They also have personal sized mini drinks available such as wine.

Far shot is one of the most entertaining things to do around Albany! The archery simulator was so unique and fun for all experience levels. DJ and the rest of the staff were very friendly and awesome to interact with. I initially thought this bar was just for axe throwing, but it is much more and offers a unique experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to try something new around Albany.

Went to Far Shot for a little gathering for my birthday. Had such a good time! John was the main person we interacted with. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in! This was my 2nd time axe throwing and this experience was so much better! John was able to hang out with us and kept us on track and kept score for us! The drinks and food were good too! A perfect way to start the night.

Had an amazing time doing archery! Tom was really great with explaining how it works and making sure we had everything we needed! Will definitely be returning! I wanted to add to my review that I went for axe throwing and Dominique and Carrie were absolutely amazing! Their support and patience as my group tried to figure out how to axe throw really made all the difference! Again, will definitely be returning!
I need to add to this that I went 10/11 and had an amazing time! Thalia was so beyond kind and made it a wonderful experience! I will definitely be back!

Just back from a great visit at Far Shot to celebrate my birthday. DJ was our host and did an amazing job! He ran us through the basics, set up games for us, and gave us extra coaching as we went along. He made an extra effort to keep the energy high and make it really fun for us. It was a great night out for our extended family of six. I'd highly recommend this place (and DJ), especially if it is your first time axe throwing. It's 10x more fun than you even expect!
