I am deeply grateful to Grassroot Givers for the incredible support and kindness shown to me and others in need. I recently arrived from Afghanistan, and after spending over two years facing many challenges and hardships in various countries, it has meant so much to receive your generous help. Thank you for providing me with clothing and for the vital services you offer to the community.
I am still in need of kitchenware and a dishwasher, and I have tried calling several times, but the line was busy. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how I can request these items.
Once again, thank you to everyone at Grassroot Givers for your outstanding dedication and for the compassion of all your staff members. Your work makes a real difference in the lives of families like mine.

Local organization staffed mainly by volunteers. They obtain donations which they use to help those in the community who are in need of help. Wonderful organization. Make sure if you donate to only donate items that are in good condition.

This organization is true to their mission of providing support and resources to members of the community. Their book mobile to support literacy programs is especially transformative to young readers. They are responsive and supportive to both donors and individuals in need.

I made a donation here and everyone seemed friendly. Unfortunately, they do not provide you with a receipt when you donate. They have you fill out a form and tell you a receipt will come in one week. After one week with no receipt, I called, and the lady on the phone noted that it is actually two weeks until you receive a donation receipt. After two weeks, I called again, and I was then informed that they had no record of the donation and would have to take my information again to provide a receipt later that day. I called again later that day, and they still did not have a receipt nor did they have any information on why they do not provide donation receipts at the point of donation similar to other donation centers.If you itemize your donations, then I strongly suggest you donate to other locations in the area. If you do not need a receipt, then this is a friendly donation center.
