About Greyhound Station
Greyhound Station in Albany has closed down, and now only a few vending machines remain. The station still attracts many loiterers and homeless people, especially late at night or early morning, with some areas having a strong smell of urine. The facility is small, run down, and in need of renovation, with uncomfortable benches and poorly maintained bathrooms that sometimes smell bad. Despite these issues, there are some vendor machines offering snacks and decent food options, along with Wi-Fi and a large waiting area. The layout is practical, but the overall atmosphere can feel desolate and melancholy. The station lacks modern amenities like phone charging stations and is not well cared for, reflecting a lack of investment from the company. Caution is advised when visiting.

I stopped here en route to Montreal. No restaurant or cafe, so make sure to pack a snack. This bus station makes you feel like you went back in time to the 1980's. There's not much around here, so bring a book while waiting for your bus.
