“Finnigan's remains the best card shop in the Capitol region. Jeff is a great owner, who knows cards, collects himself, and is always willing to share his knowledge with collectors old and new. This is my only recommendation if you are looking for a regular card shop in the Albany area.”
“Overall this seemed like a very cool hobby/game shop with a very active local community. I walked in and the place was buzzing with players engaging in what I think was a Magic: The Gathering tournament. I originally walked in to see if I could find some terrain for Warhammer 40k. They had a couple items but not what I was looking for. However, I was surprised by the amount of cool items they had in the back area like paperback science fiction novels, old comics and magazines, as well as collectibles and action figures. Will definitely visit again.”

The person behind the cafe super nice as well and for a place were you can only have food that they make and drinks their prices are reasonable and fair
The events they host clean and organized and the rewards for playing even in local Friday night magic really good
There are few minor things
1) big gaming space is def on the warm side in the summer ( just dress accordingly)
2) in terms of singles they don’t have alot. ( that’s because they sell out of them quickly and that just means there popular and do very well)
But if your new to magic the gather or heck love board games I highly recommend this place they also have a huge board game selection for people to play and some to buy .”
“Honestly, how can you not love the buy 1 get 2 deal on canvases and paints. They run it a few times a year. Overall the service is average, young kids mostly. Always kind of feel that they are missing opportunities to engage with their customers, i.e. live demonstrations, community art shows, ect..”
“Great find in Albany. Large selection of used electric trains and accessories at great prices! Much less expensive than on online auctions. Owner highly knowledgeable and willing to negotiate on prices. Bought several O and HO gage engines. Will come back again!”
