We went yesterday for a blood draw. The people doing the blood draw were fine. The check in and waiting were horrible. Specifically, the receptionist could care less about the people waiting, to the point of literally ignoring a man in a wheel chair sitting right in front of her and trying to get her attention.
The full story.
We used the automated check in kiosk which told us we could wait anywhere. The waiting room was tiny and completely full and the only chairs we could find were between the double doors by the entrance. There were 2 chairs and 3 of us so I let me children sit and read while I sat on the floor.
More than 30 minutes later we got a text message saying we needed to return because our name would be called shortly. We got back to the lobby within a minute or two. It was standing room only so we stood to one side of the receptionist's desk waiting.
After close to another 20 minutes watching her call one person right after the last walked away I gave up on politely waiting. As soon as she finished with one I walked up, told her we had gotten the text message a long time ago, and our name still hadn't been called.
She told me that she had called it a long time ago and we must not have been listening. I had been standing a few feet away the whole time, if she had called it I would have heard. My only assumption is that she's calling it right when the text message goes out, or possibly even before. If you don't hear it... tough luck. She's never going to call it again.
She took the scripts from our doctor to fully check us in... and then we waited another 20 minutes or so before we got seen.
During this time I saw a man in a wheelchair who was going through the same thing. He tried multiple times, rolling up to the desk and waiting for her to acknowledge him. She completely ignored him, instead calling the next name. He poltely rolled back, only to try again after she finished with that person. Eventually he said he had gottent the text message and had been waiting a long time. She responded that he must have missed it... and then called the next name on her list, ignoring the man in the wheelchair.
She knew she had called his name, and still was ignoring him. As he rolled back I heard him mutter "What do you need to do to get seen here? Die?"
I will not willingly return to this location. She had to know that she was missing people but obviously didn't care.

Incredibly Inefficient and unorganized check in process. It was a very busy Saturday morning, but the check in person was too quick to skip over people with appointments just to keep things moving. This ultimately delayed things further because people would have to be worked back into queue. Seemed like people were being called completely arbiltrarilly. I saw people arrive after me and leave before me despite having a later appointment than I did.
Would recommend coming at a different time or a different location entirely to save yourself the trouble.

I brought my son in for blood test and urinalysis. He had an 8:30 am appointment, and we arrived at around 8:15. There was a line to check in, so it took about 10 minutes, and he was checked in by 8:25. The waiting room was full, the hall outside was also full of people, and there was an ATM in the lobby that was sounding an alarm, a loud buzz every 2 seconds. So, busy and noisy. Apparently that day was mostly drug urinalysis tests for employment, so a lot of people needed to come in. There was a computerized listing on the wall showing ones place in line. Most people were walk-ins, but we had an appointment. At 8:45, it showed my son as being 3rd in line, with an appointment. Same thing at 8:55. At 9:00, it showed him as being 20th in line (out of 22 people), and that he was a walk-in. It upset him (me too) and so I went up to the desk to ask what happened. The woman there didn't want to engage, but I stood there for a few minutes until she finally looked up. After I told her our problem, she said that they had called him "at least twice, and he never answered". So they put him at the back of the line. I told her that they had not called him, I was there the whole time. I was polite but stern. They had not called him at all--I thought at the time, you guys made a mistake, just own it and go on from there. I didn't say this, though. After a minute or two of give and take, she looked at him and said, "come in". He went in. While I was waiting for him, the receptionist came out into the waiting area and announced that any walk-ins were going to have to wait at least an hour because the lab only had one bathroom. I thought, this is where they do all the UAs and it has only one bathroom? Anyway, my son came out and by 9:20 we were done. 1 star for service but upped to 2 stars because the phlebotomist was good.

I brought my 82yr old mom in for a blood draw. Richard was our technician. Richard was timely, caring, and all around lovely. My mom says she has “bad veins that roll, and technicians have trouble finding them, often stabbing 4x”. ??
Richard took a look and had a vein the first try.
My mom was amazed and impressed.
Thank you so much Richard for making out visit smooth and stress free!!
We will def make all further lab appts here

Loraine was a delight! Not only does she manage the front desk with grace, she is also very good at drawing blood. She is kind, friendly and has a beautiful spirit. I drive over 20 mins to get my labs done here as I’ve yet to have an unpleasant experience. The staff is always polite even when faced with some unpleasant situations from others. Thank you for your patience and kindness!

Don't even bother going to 1375 Washington Ave for a employment drugtest. All the ppl do is turn you away and send you to 920 Lark Drive. They don't assist, they don't help they just send you there. They don't want to be removed off the service app so they they state they do something they don't. Go straight to 920 Lark Drive. Don't waste your time.

The technicians were nice but the front desk and check in was awful. I made an appointment and they still told me it didn't matter, I had to wait.

The receptionist lady was polite but the one who was drawing my blood was very rude. She spoke rudely to me and drew my blood very roughly. It was really hurting me. And she was placing the vials in the box in a harsh manner as if she was frustrated or was in a hurry. I was scared that the vials might break and she might have to draw my blood again and put me through additional pain!
Wouldn’t recommend here for blood work and would definitely not go in again!
And as I am looking at the reviews, I see a couple of the people have same issue. It would be really great if this can be worked out!

Typically a quick and convenient visit, but the receptionist has zero people skills. She told me they were closed, I guess as a joke? After I checked in she was barking orders at me. Questioned the test that was ordered and asked about my medical conditions. Overall, a pretty uncomfortable experience. I will be trying a different location next time.

Great staff. I'm what they refer to as a "tough stick". The staff in this place gets me the first time every time.

The lady was so mean to me and she almost made me cry. She kept yelling at me to stop moving but she would be moving me. I would apologize and she said and I quote “STOP MOVING I AM NOT AFRAID TO POKE U TWICE” She just kept yelling at me and I walked out with tears.
