I'd like to give a massive shoutout to the best employees ever, one of them named Brock! He went the extra mile and shipped me a particular pair of pants that was only available at his store to my state, a few hours away! I called many Macy's stores to retrieve these pants, and Brock and the other newly-hired employee were the ones who helped me out the most. Thanks a lot, Brock!

Macy’s at Colonie Center in Albany, NY, has mixed reviews from our different visits. This location is cleaner and more updated compared to the Macy’s at Crossgates Mall. 
some times we found that the store less organized, with merchandise on the floor and difficulty finding sizes. 
Overall, we have positive experiences at Macy’s Colonie Center, few times have concerns about store organization practices.

I had shopped at macys colonie center about a few days ago and was waiting in line at at your service for awhile as one person was on the register needing help with all of us in line. I noticed an employee by the area she had a brownish bob and she had to have noticed the stress on the woman at the register and didn’t bother to help her. Nobody should be working alone especially if there’s workers nearby! And thank you to the woman who helped me and didn’t rush at all through my purchase.

Decent place to shop. Things look organized and associates are helpful. I stopped into the jewelry area to have my watch checked. Person who helped me was very informative.

I loved shopping until a rude lady asked me if I needed help. I was with my daughter and she really told me I might be more interested in the clearance section. I think she needs to get laid and treat people better no matter their backgrounds. Will never go again

Although there was one rude staff person, the rest of the people I interacted with were super helpful and polite. One woman went out of her way to help me find something. The lines were long, but they moved quickly without making you feel like they were rushing you.

I went into Macy’s today to exchange perfume and my indecisive self of course had to smell 300 of them, before I could decide. The woman that assisted me, no the AMAZING woman that assisted me named Marie was wonderful. This woman was sweet, she was kind, she was helpful and most of all she was patient with somebody as indecisive as I am . She literally went above and beyond to help me. She was friendly, she was courteous and she made me feel like I was the only customer in the store and there were a lot of customers in the store. So as far as Marie in the Colonie Center Macy’s, Marie you rock! The best customer service I have probably ever received anywhere and don’t listen to your coworkers. Especially those that have had more work done on their faces than Albany‘s had construction. And shame on you coworker for Downing Marie like you did in front of customers talking about how she didn’t look good and she needs to put on this that this and that. ( meaning make up on her face) Marie was beautiful. I thought Marie was my age. However, Marie is 20 years older than I am and she looks amazing and very naturally Beautiful. For a coworker to approach, whose face was done up 3 inches thick who was probably 30 years older than Marie. I don’t like to be mean to people nor do I want to be mean to people but shame on you for saying the things that you said to your coworker all because she got a sale and you did not! that’s the only reason I could think why you felt the need to approach her in the middle of her helping a customer to say these nasty things.! Just because you sell, perfume and makeup does not mean that you have to wear 5 pounds of makeup on your face. The amount of makeup Marie had on was just Right was not too much and she was still naturally beautiful! So thank you Marie and shame on that coworker I should I’ve gotten her name. Just so you know this was on New Year’s Day roughly 4:30 PM that this All transpired, I was making a return as I previously stated Hopefully, that will be enough identifying information for you to know who I am. So if anybody ever needs anything from Macy’s perfume or make up, definitely ask for Marie she was a really great Employee and represented Macy’s very nicely !

Ordered something for in person pickup. Pick up was cancelled the next day by Macys and they offered me shipping. Ok, not the end of the world, but they then cancelled the shipping a few days later. Ordinarily I wouldn't be frustrated but this was to be a gift. Had they told me up front they didn't have the item I would have gone elsewhere. Now it's too late and I will need to do something else.

A once decent store that has now fallen on it's backside. I will be taking my business elsewhere. A sadly lacking men's dept. and you can't even get a bag for your purchase. Really? A $150 purchase and they want to offer me a bag for an additional $.05!
Keep your bag and your merch. I'm going elsewhere.

I'm honestly shocked that this store isn't on the list of closures. It doesn't look like they have put a single penny into maintenance in years. Stains on the floor, broken and damaged trim, displays, ventilation, lighting, flooring. Missing shelving but still wall brackets. Holes in walls and ceilings. Missing lighting. I also don't think the heat is on. Employees are all bundled up, feels like it's 50* F in here.
